I've been buying Redwing boots and Carhartt clothes here since I moved to town 17 years ago. For the last 4-5 years I've bought the EXACT same boot. I'd call every 10-14 months and tell them the model number and size, they would order them and call me when they arrived. They discontinued this model last fall. I went in this last January to look at other options and they found (in the back room) my EXACT BOOT that had been shipped to a customer by mistake and was returned to the store, That very morning! I was thrilled!

I went to the store today because the bottom of my soles are cracked all the way across and all the way through to the insoles (redwing insoles that are 2 months old). The lady looked in my boots, told me they were manufactured in 2015 and don't qualify for replacement or warranty because they're too old. I gave her the receipt (from 1-18-18) and she said these were not the boots I'd bought 7 months ago but the ones I'd bought in 2015. She said these were my old ones (from 2015) and not what the receipt showed. I'm trying to cheat them out of boots? I paid, have always paid good money for these boots, and this how they treat me... as a cheat? The man that sold me the boots in January was there today, I told here that, and she said those weren't the boots he sold me! The man did nothing to help, just stood and watched the whole conversation. I told her to give me the receipt and they'd never see a dime of my money again. After all these years of helping to supporting there business,.....I'm the one trying to get one over on them? I'll never go back there again! Beware, their warranty...

The 2 workers Jonathan and Ms. Charlotte. were great at giving me their opinion on which boot to get. Ms. Charlotte gave a total breakdown on what makes a good work boot. She took my foot measurement with this in store foot measurement tool and come to find out I was about to get the wrong size. Ms. Charlotte brought these wonderful shoes from the back and they not only check the durability and comfort box but also the style box too. I walked out with them on!!!!
