The first thing google asks you to select when leaving a review is the stars. We can give as many as 5. I wish I could leave 10. My wife Monica wrote her own review earlier. This is mine. 7 months after we moved into our new beautiful Alex M. Home in 4B Ranch. To start with, everything my wife said is true. Alex always kept our budget in mind. Our budget was limited and strict. Our house is probably the smallest in 4B. But I am a picky, very detailed oriented pain in a builders arse kind of person. Alex and his team, especially Lecia in the design center, made Monica and my, first house we ever built from scratch, made our house dreams come true. If anyone reading this review is considering using any other builder other then Alex M. Construction ......You would be making a mistake. Not only do Alex and his team and subs build a great home, but Alex is a pillar of this community. As my wife pointed out in her review, it is hard to go anywhere in this town and not hear praises of this guys impression and affect on this community. I will always be thankful for this home that they built for us. Use any other builder at your own risk. Risk of missing the opportunity to work with Alex, Lecia, and his team.

ps......I do not mean to create waves......but the review by Jeff Stanley...1 star??????? mind blow!!!!!!!!!!........I do not know what went on there......but we met with Alex 3 times, IN PERSON......we drove out here from ca each time and Alex made time for us, again, 3 TIMES!!!!!!!!!! before we decided to build, and Alex decided to build for us........I was just curious after I left my review, what others thought......and I stumbled across his review.......I am sorry he did not have a good experience, and I am sorry he did not have the opportunity to work with Alex.......

Both my wife and I have worked in the construction industry (both of our fathers were homebuilders), so I intentionally waited a year after moving into our new home to write this review. Of course we were excited and delighted to move into our house (September 2019). It was beautiful, a great design, lots of "standard" upgrades, and Alex and Jennifer treated us like old friends. But those things can quickly sour if there are issues with the new home. And....there were issues. We had a few minor problems - a door that wouldn't close, a leaky drainpipe, a crack/chip in the tub, an LED light that burned out after two weeks, and a couple of other similar small things. But even several months after the sale, Alex responded to every request immediately and cheerfully, and got things resolved quickly by servicer providers who were respectful, efficient and friendly. He was adamant that we call him if we even had the slightest worry, and he has stood behind his word. I wholeheartedly recommend an Alex Meisner home to anyone in the market for a new place to live. He has blown away any expectations that we had, and every day we still wake up grateful to be in such a nice house. One word to the wise: Spend the money on better carpet. Alex Meisner Construction built our dream home and we had a great experience.

With it being our first custom home, we were a bit nervous and apprehensive about the whole process. Alex and his team did an awesome job of laying everything out in a simple and easy to understand format. They made sure to give us finish options that were within our budget but also provided good suggestions on potential upgrades without being pushy at all. Their communication was top-notch and they were quick to answer any questions or concerns that came up. It was obvious that this wasn't their first go at a custom home build.

Anyone that builds a custom home will tell you that running into some snags is just part of the process. I think how these issues are dealt with is what sets Meisner and his team apart from everyone else. Any minor issues that were encountered before, during, or even after construction were quickly and thoughtfully addressed. It really felt like Alex was on our side throughout the entire process which meant a lot. You can tell that he picks good subs and holds them to a higher standard when it comes to the quality of work.

We have been living in our custom home for just over one year now and have been loving it. Thanks...
