Let me start off by giving the biggest kudos to Fred P., sleep specialist, and Serena C., floor specialist, from the Cedar Falls location. They were so wonderful during this entire process. I started off with Fred the sleep specialist. He was so knowledgeable about mattresses. You’d think I’d know more since I’ve been sleeping on one all my life, but nope. Once you go to him, you’ll quickly find out how much you didn’t know and how much of a better sleep you could be having. He was a pleasure to work with and helped me and my son pick our new mattress at the best price point for us. Thanks, Fred! P.S. I suggest buying the mattress covers also because they work great! My pup wanted to mark her territory on my son’s bed, and that mattress cover did not let a drop go through. I washed it, and it’s as good as new. I’m so glad we got them. Serena the floor specialist. She was so great. So patient and understanding with us the entire process. She answered any questions we had and brought us all over the store to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. She made sure all our deliveries would be scheduled for the same date including the mattresses. She even made sure my special order would be ready for that delivery date also. I just appreciate when a team member goes above and beyond like that! We even went back to add another item to the list, and she was just wonderful every single time. Will NOT be returning. Sold a couch that was marked higher in price than Ashley’s website had it listed for in order to make it seem like I was getting a much higher discount. Bait and switch. Also found out that, even though nothing says anything but Ashley on it in store, INCLUDING MY CREDIT CARD CHARGE, they are Furniture Mart and can’t honor Ashley pricing. EVERYTHING I SAW AND WAS TOLD, I was buying from Ashley. The bottom line was that it was actually an 18% discount when they said it was 46% off to make it appear to be a better deal.

UPDATE: No budging from Ashley Homestore. Unlike Ashley’s lie in regards to my negative review, they did not do a single thing to remedy the situation. I offered an overly fair alternative of 30% off the current full price. Clearance is supposed to be marked 30% off. I didn’t even ask for the 46% discount they advertised on the attached picture. They told me that I could go ahead and spend more money and wait 2-6 weeks to get the same thing if I wanted. They were very flippant when confronted with their UNETHICAL PRACTICES. I found out they paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars due to this very same thing. I’ve included a pictures but you will see the same thing with a simple google search… STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! Our friends that came in with us stated they won’t EVER DO BUSINESS WITH SOMEONE WHO ACTS UNETHICAL LIKE ASHLEY HOMESTORE. They are actively looking for a new furniture store to purchase from for their new house. The gentleman who helped load at the Ashley distribution warehouse stated he has tons of problems and complaints with this specific Cedar Falls store and he works for Ashley… Interesting the...

I am not usually one to review services of any company. However, today’s interaction with our sales person Joy, Was above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced in furniture shopping! She was very pleasant as she greeted us as we entered the store. She presented a few questions without the typical sales person pitch. When we answered the questions, she took us immediately to the area of this rather large store. Showed us the recliners and sofas we’d mentioned. She then gave us very detailed product information and showed us to the fabric selections and explained the customization process. We look for a while and told her we had a few other places to shop. She said no problem and we took her card. We went to shop a few other places, but quickly decided that this was the best match for what our needs were And went back to Ashley To make a purchase. The overall transaction was smooth and seamless from beginning to end. we weren’t felt rushed or obligated to purchase anything but encouraged to take our time to make the right decision. Joy is an ABSOLUTE Asset to her team and the company, ASHLEY furniture. Honestly, one of the best shopping experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re in that area of Cedar Falls, Iowa and are in need of furnishings, don’t bother with any other companies. Just go straight in and ask for Joy Winfield.
