I have not visited this store. My experience was over the phone. I called only because they have listed “some” G scale stuff. I asked if they had any transformers for G scale trains, the man that answered wasn’t sure what I was asking for I said Garden trains I need a transformer. He was still unable to help as he didn’t know what I wanted and there was a man in the background that stated they didn’t have any and didn’t know anyone that could help me. To the reviewer that stated this shop has everything from Z scale to G scale and how friendly and nice the people are her must have a different idea about what G scale is. It really doesnt get much better than this. They have an excellent selection from brand new just released ro old and used. The first place I always go for my Rock Island railroad stuff. Prices are outstanding, akd staff is pretty freindly. If you cant find something, Carol usually can if you give her a couple minutes to look around. Not really a negative thing but its very easy to get lost and loose track of time in here. Carol and Merlyn have been running this shop for many years! And the enthusiasm and dedication to the trains has not stopped! This place is literally packed with trains, every time I go there I always find something new. A great place for beginners to start the hobby or for experienced train folks to get the latest and greatest trains. Although they do not have a website, they do take phone orders for pickup and they ship as well.
