The Nook is my absolute favorite place. I love it so much. I love the vibe it gives. I love bookstores because books are so calming for me, but The Nook takes this feeling to the next level. It is comforting and simple yet beautiful inside. I could spend every day in there. The staff and owners are SO kind and helpful. You are always greeted with a smile and they are eager to assist in finding exactly what you’re looking for. They have a variety of books and bookish items for all ages. I love going on my own or with friends to browse and just hang out with a cup of coffee from The Reader’s Cup, which is the book themed coffee shop that is attached and also adorable. However, it’s family friendly, so I also love taking my kids to pick out a book and grab a cookie. I’ve been to multiple events there, as well, put on by The Nook and The Readers Cup. Every event they have put on is well thought out, well organized, and so much fun! I seriously could live in there if they would let me! I wish there was a place like The Nook everywhere. Kudos to the owners, because it is truly amazing. I recommend it to every person I talk to. Stop in. You won’t regret it, but your wallet might. 🖤

The Nook is an amazing bookstore, however I the owners really out did themselves with their new addition, The Reader’s Cup. I am a latte lover and I had the BEST sugar free vanilla almond milk latte of my life today. I have a lot of allergies and I appreciate their milk selection for that reason. They use coffee from Fat Cup in Waterloo. Fat Cup supplies the freshest, best tasting espresso and coffee you can get. The environment is elegantly decorated with a great selection of their many homemade products sprinkled throughout. I really appreciated the cozy, warm space on a cold rainy day. If you’re coming to work on a laptop, so far I’ve had no problem finding a conveniently placed outlet in their seating areas. My only feedback would be that I wish there were seat cushions available for those of us who are sitting a long time on the wooden chairs/benches. The staff is incredibly nice and made me feel very comfortable. The restroom is private and spacious, definitely big enough for someone who uses a walker or wheelchair to use. I will definitely be a frequent flyer here.

I’ve always enjoyed cozy little bookstores and cozy little coffee shops and I’ve always enjoyed them more when it turns out they blend together. Plain little shop with lots of options for every type of genre you might be looking for with delicious baked good Tempting coffees and cocoas for you to find a seat and enjoy your new delicious book. I will be back 🥰

If my husband hadn't been waiting for me down the block I would have stayed in here all afternoon. Is it a quiet place to read a book on a Saturday afternoon? No -- and thank goodness. It's wonderful to see people of all ages packing a local book store. Lots of bestsellers, fantasy, romance, a small section of nonfiction, and more. But don't expect to find anything unexpected. Tiny tables in nooks and crannies invite you to sit a while. Gifty book-related items. Nice displays, friendly staff. I didn't have time for a beverage or snack but I'll make time the next time I head north to...
