I am usually a very big fan of this theater's productions. Their most recent production is one of my favorite Musicals of all time "Mama Mia!". The cast seemed a lot younger than I've seen before, more college kids than I'd have expected to be interested in this show. This cast is typically more diverse than what I saw this show. The cast seemed almost blatantly thin casted. For those who were not Pinky thin were put in sweats and t shirts. Thinner cast members were put in adorable dresses that matched the shows time period and themes. Its unfortunate that the Directing team would do something so horrid as to body shame a cast publicly and make it so obvious that they have an opinion on their cast's appearance. While the show, cast and scene backgrounds were wonderful and again the acting was top notch, I had a major issue with what it seems costumes has chosen to do to their cast. There was mainly thinner cast members, but the cast members who may have seemed a bit on the heavier side of the scale were put in unflattering non-cannon costumes for the show. Weather this was intentional or not, it is utterly distasteful for a show that should have a very diverse cast in both size shape and skin color. If this is the kind of theatrical management this theatre chooses to work with I will not be watching another of...

Although the seats and decor are aged and slightly uncomfortable, everyone was welcoming, excitable, and all around passionate about the theater.
It is like a little family and they invite everyone to come in and be a part of it, if only for a night. I highly suggest...
