If there was an option to negatively rate this pawn shop, I would. The people in there were rude, disrespectful and no understanding of customer service AT ALL. They treated me with sarcasm, back handed remarks at first sight. I walked in while it was raining outside. I’m a photographer and recently started checking out local pawnshops for any equipment that I may use. One of the ladies started making a mockery of me coming in during the rain. I don’t know if it was because it was close to closing time, which I didn't know. I walked in with my two kids and even they were turned off and expressed how uncomfortable and mistreated they felt as soon as we walked in. Let me mention I ended up buying an Occulus for my kid who has been saving for one for a while. So I let him get it. I regret it. I would have taken my business elsewhere and urge you to TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! ANYWHERE BUT THERE! I’d like to mention I’m in a biracial relationship and my kids are mixed, I walked in with two of my kids first, my girlfriend who is white followed in about 7 mins later and their demeanor changed completely for her . Until they knew she was with me! She still mentioned in the car that she did not taking a liking to those ladies demeanor or remarks either. Lastly I saw a godox x-pro c in there for sale. It was priced at $69! Same as a brand new one on Amazon! Theirs had scratches and was roughed up quite a bit. So if the other information I gave you about how we were treated doesn’t deter you from Taking your business elsewhere i hope you take the pricing structure into consideration. I’m more saddened than frustrated with this experience over all. I don’t know how this place survives honestly. God bless those people, I hope he changes them. I would rate this pawn a zero. Take your money to Alvarado pawn or anywhere else. Very nice and loving people over there. I moved out of state called to make a payment of $120 and ask a few questions to make a pay off and get my loan as low as I could while I have the money. Said she could only take the interest payment because i had to sign a blue ticket. She acted like i was trying to pay off on a firearm. Said she had to call the Oic board or whatever it's called to see if I could make payment towards the loan without me signing a blue ticket then proceeded to read me a story about allowing a man who had paid off his loan on a firearm that had passed away while waiting for his background to pass.... firearms and other possessions are a total different set of rules such ignorant Co-owner as she claimed very inconsiderate all she wanted was to be heard and do all the talking herself. I had to ask if I could speak and then when I did she cut me right off. The lady is all about being heard and couldnt listen to anything i tried to say. Worst service I had ever done with any ma and pa pawn shop. Never again. Wouldn't doubt the racism in other reviews. Looks like I'll be making a 7 hour car ride to pay off and pick up my possessions.
