Let me start by saying that I saw a few negative reviews about this place, and I don't know how that is even possible.
Story time. So I went looking for a last-minute gift for my daughter's 13th birthday. I know she's been infatuated lately with Lilo and Stitch, so I knew my mission. I looked online for the ring and charm bracelet. Online showed me that none of the retailers had updated stock reflected on their websites. I took the chance and went to Cedar Hill, which wasn't too far away. I walked in and was greeted by my hero, who was later identified as the Manager (Crystal). I told her what I was looking for and the sizes I needed. Not only was she super attentive and compassionate. She shared her “love” for charms and superheroes. She was able to find exactly what I needed in the sizes required. As we continued talking, she mentioned the Stitch jewelry box. I'm a little hesitant at first but I am sold as soon as I see it in person. I grabbed a few extra items, and the mission was complete.
When I get home, I give my daughter her gift, and she is glowing with excitement. She tries on the ring first, which fits perfectly. Now comes the Stitch charm bracelet. It fits without the charms (my fault on the sizing). I told her we would go back and get it fixed.
Fast forward to today. I return to the same store, and what do I see in the reflection of the store window? “It's a bird, It's a plane, It's crystal,” I explain the situation, and she jumps into action. Not only does she try on different sizes. She ensures that it will fit even with multiple charms. Thanks to the swift actions of Crystal and team. I will be coming here more frequently as now my son wants a charm necklace of Deadpool.
TLDR: Stop by and make your own determination about the store. It's clean, well-kept, and awesomely staffed. I hope more people leave good reviews when they received...

Considering the fact that Mother’s Day is tomorrow I expected them to be busy , not to mention the ongoing pandemic and the adjustments it brings , so I agreed on signing up for the option to be put on the waiting list with one of the ladies (she told me beforehand that the wait may be an hour plus) and I was fine with that as I had nothing else to do aside from getting my mom something nice for her many Pandora bracelets and necklaces. Unfortunately after checking back on the app to see what place I was in line, I got a message stating I was no longer in line. With me being new to ever seeing this app, I just assumed that it meant it was my turn to go in the store so I walked back there and it was a new lady checking people in so I got nervous, I let her know I was on the list , showed her when I signed in and she asked who did I sign up with and I described the other lady so she directed me on where to go, made sure I didn’t have to wait another whole hour or two. Once I got inside the store the service was absolutely amazing, swift, and easy. These Beautiful women had a great rhythm down on who is going where, when, and how many people can be in the store. I admire and thank them for the level of energy they kept even while working out in the sun, and their amazing attitudes even with such a high level of customers to the point that the line is wrapped around the store. They may not have been prepared or ready for the rush but you would never have been able to tell with the level of exceptionalism and professionalism they served! It was so great that I ended up going there for ONE thing, but came out with THREE things well over the budget I came in with and I was happy to spend it !!!! Keep up the great work ladies, I will...
Read moreI made an attempt to get my bracelets cleaned on the weekend on May 5th. I was not able to because I was unaware cleaning is only offered Monday through Thursday and you can no longer leave your jewelry for cleaning. Fast forward to today, I again attempted to get my brackets cleaned, I was told, “we don’t do cleanings after a sale”. How was I supposed to know this??
Whenever I go James Avery I am never disappointed! I am so grateful I was able to go and drop my James Avery bracelets off, otherwise I would have been upset. Knowing I was going to get accommodated and great customer service (every visit) helped!

Update I received a response to contact the 844 number. I was offered 15% off my next purchase, told the location is a franchise blah blah blah…. “ I do not want your 15%, at this point I no longer want my bracelet”. I will try another location in another city and hopefully they service etc is a lot better…. I can’t wait to go pick up my JA bracelet! I’ll post it…. Ladies and gentlemen if you DO NOT have a James Avery bracelet! Not only are you missing out on quality merchandise, but customer service commitment!
** I have since been back to this location twice since I first posted this review. I thought I made a review for great customer service from Joy; she was very courteous and helpful. Although she was with another customer she acknowledged me soon as I came the store. She was very helpful, resolved my issue and I was so impressed with the service she provided; I purchased two more charms. Fast forward 9/7/24 she was able to wait in my daughter and I today.
