I bought a pair of On Court shoes from this Dick’s a couple days before I left for vacation. I left the shoes home and while on vacation in Austin, I found a couple pair I liked much better at a Dick’s store in Austin. I bought both pair and requested my husband, who is home in Cedar Rapids, to return the pair I bought there. He tried to return them yesterday and was told they couldn’t find me in their system. Fortunately, he was able to get a proof of purchase from Corporate. When he went back today to return them, they now told him they wouldn’t take them back without the box. I checked the return policy and nowhere does it say items must be returned in their original packaging. Also spoke with a Dick’s representative online who said not accepting the shoes without the box is a bogus reason, that that is not store policy. Read moreWe came to exchange an item that did not even last 2 weeks knowing that we would have some issues exchanging the item as we did not have our receipt. Our cashier was perfectly polite, helpful and was willing to work with our problem. A one star is given because the Managers on duty, one Dick and one Ryan, were rude, hostile and frankly verbally combative. First, the cashier had to ARGUE in front of us for one of those two to come up. When they did finally come up, they were nasty to the cashier for doing her job and then turned on us. The main manager, Dick, proceed to berate us for not having a 'score card' to make it easier. "I will do this one time only for you," was his nasty response when we asked for a simple exchange. The man in the Golf department also warranted a one start rating by informing the cashier, and us, that the brand of bag we were exchanging was a "piece of crap anyway." That is not salesmanship,...

First of a couple weeks ago they didn’t want to price match I had to call corporate to get it priced matched which they said the store should of done in the first place. Now today we attempted to buy a bike we look through several bikes most of which have some type of defect finally find an alright one that we can fix on our own. Keep in mind nobody was working in the bikes area. We go up front to pay for it and they say it will be 15 to 30 minutes so they can look it over. A little irritated but like whatever. We leave and return 30 minutes later to buy the bike. Go in to pay the girl says you have to go to the bikes go back the guy says it’s broken and we say ok can we get a different one? They say it will be another 15 to 30 minutes! Seriously...😳 So no bike for my kiddo! Nothing but a bunch of idiots...
