Cold stone is still delicious but the service has taken a downturn. No longer greeted when customers come through the door, I stepped up to the cooler and had to wait for the girls to finish gossiping amongst themselves before ordering. Throughout my purchase, I seemed like a major inconvenience to them. Short remarks about the cost of mix ins when I started to tell them what I wanted were not appreciated so i just stopped with two. I get that more mix ins have additional cost, but she said it as if she was annoyed to have to do the work. At the end, I put in a tip anyway (I remember what it was like to work in the service industry when I was starting out), and I was a little bummed to learn they dont do the little tip jingle anymore. This is such a stupid thing that your store off of Collins Road, here in Cedar Rapids just did. My wife went in to BUY 20 gift cards as part of gift bags for some event at our church. Well, your staff flat out refused to sell more than 10 gift cards to us, at one time. VERY STUPID, you just lost a bunch of money on that transaction. So, Chick-fil-a will get our business. Guess what, they were more than happy to sale us the gift cards. In fact, we were able to purchse them at a super discount. Sorry, you missed out on this sale and possibly many more in the future. Rough experience. Cleanliness is an overall issue. Service left a lot to be desired. The entrance door quite literally completely broke as we opened it to come in. This caused quite the flurry of activity and a general inability of the employees to handle the situation besides them proclaiming they told their boss about it. I was able to get the door closed, but they jacked with it until it wouldn’t close anymore so they could send pictures.
