Kohl's — Local services in Cedar Rapids

Can I possibly give lower than a one star? It's was about 4:15 p.m. on August 11th 2025. Saying that so they can look at the cameras and see who it was and that yes I was there. I'm referring to a very old lady grumpy as she was at the return desk. She was hanging up bras. Didn't even recognize I was there. Then she said can I help you I said yes ma'am I have a return. She said to Kohl's or to Amazon? And I said to Kohl's. So she said well in the future go in that maze next to you and all of us do the same thing we can all take returns. I said well those girls are busy and this is where I've only known to take returns at. She said well like I said in the future you can go through the Maze and all of us do the same thing. So I said that's fine whatever I will go to another Kohl's. She said no I'll take it and I said no absolutely not I will go to another Kohl's. And she tried to tell me to stay. And I just turned around and said absolutely not. I will go to another Kohl's and not return here. I hope that you get rid of her she's a nasty old lady who does not want to work. She wanted to throw it on to the other girls who were very very busy. Totally ridiculous. And I spend a lot of money, but I will never spend a dime in...

I love Kohl's. Great savings if you hit them at the right time. Rewards are worth it. The Kohl's cash saves me. I have a family of 6.. but I'm big now after having 6 kids. I needed a swimsuit. My youngest and I went in for me to find one. In the dressing room I tried on a top and bottoms then had the door banged on. The employee aggressively said to bring the clothes out to the rack when done. "Walked away," saying how sick they were of people leaving items in the dressing room. Um, I had not tried anything on until then. I was already uncomfortable as this sadly was the 3rd placed id tried for a size 20/22 swimsuit and I constantly feel bad in my own body. This interaction definitely did not help me in this situation and honestly makes me not want to try clothes on again which means less buying clothes for myself because no one can afford to buy clothes willy nilly without knowing if they'll fit. I cried on the way home and my sweet babe who is a blessing and thinks I'm beautiful did not understand...

Lots of clothes on the wrong side hangers, things in the wrong sections, etc. but the real issue was one of security. Didn't have my Kohl's card so they started by having me enter my phone number on a keypad. Fine, no big deal. But next they made me hand over my ID to scan it. Seems a little extreme, but I did it. However then she proceeded to ask me to type in my social security number, my ZIP code, and verify my address! All of this in full view of people standing behind me. I expressed concern about it being completely unnecessary and a possible breach of my identity, and the young girl checking me out mentioned that she can't see any of the information. I said I understand, but all of the people standing in line behind me can see anything they choose to. She seemed completely surprised at my questions (and I kept my voice down the whole time), but I knew she wouldn't pass along any of it to a supervisor who might be able to do something.
