Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is a beloved shopping destination that offers a diverse range of stores and a pleasant shopping experience. As a resident of Cedar Rapids, I have had the opportunity to visit Lindale Mall on numerous occasions, and it continues to be a go-to destination for both shopping and leisure.
One of the highlights of Lindale Mall is its variety of stores. From well-known national retailers to local specialty shops, the mall offers something for everyone. Whether you're looking for clothing, accessories, electronics, or home decor, the diverse selection ensures that shoppers can find what they're looking for. The presence of anchor stores adds to the convenience and draws a diverse range of customers.
The mall's layout is spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable shopping environment. The wide corridors and ample seating areas allow for leisurely strolls and relaxation. The cleanliness and attention to detail contribute to a positive overall ambiance.
Lindale Mall also caters to the needs of visitors with its array of dining options. There are various restaurants, cafes, and food courts available, offering a range of cuisines to suit different tastes. This allows shoppers to take a break and enjoy a meal or a quick snack during their visit.
The mall's amenities include clean restrooms, baby-changing facilities, and ample parking. The availability of these amenities enhances the overall shopping experience and ensures convenience for visitors. The mall's management also hosts events and activities throughout the year, adding to the entertainment value and providing a lively atmosphere.
One aspect that could be improved is the addition of more unique and independent stores. While the presence of national chains is appreciated, incorporating more local businesses and boutique shops would enhance the mall's appeal and provide a wider selection of unique products and experiences.
In conclusion, Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids offers a pleasant and diverse shopping experience. With its range of stores, comfortable layout, and various amenities, it continues to be a popular destination for residents and visitors alike. Whether you're seeking fashion, entertainment, or a bite to eat, Lindale Mall provides a convenient and enjoyable...
Read moreHey Lindale Mall,
Just a thought for next year..when you decide to host the Easter Bunny try choosing a Bunny/Photo business that actually VALUES the experiences of our babies, toddlers, and children here in Cedar Rapids. Some of these kiddos have waited weeks for their chance to meet the Easter Bunny and be able to sit with him. You're taking the MAGIC away from these kiddos. You're teaching them that money is more important than moments. That Bunny should be there to provide an experience for these children, not just to make a quick $25 on one 5x7 photo. With that said, we as parents like to capture these moments of our children for ourselves and should have every RIGHT to, especially if we are PAYING for your services. The photo of my son that I took last year with the Easter bunny was the background on my phone for months. That photo made it in our memory books and calendars that we make for grandparents. That business you support gets their money and still forces people to put their phones away - - even folks who were on phones for personal reasons and not capturing photos, which is considerably inappropriate.
As a parent, I should not have to speak up and force the Bunny to take his legs off the 2 bean bags in front of him and acknowledge my child. He wouldn't look at our son, give him a high five, or even scoot over on the bench to give him a place to sit next. I wouldn't be satisfied as a mall, knowing that this business was causing such unsatisfactory experiences that are so simple and easy to achieve.
Point is, your Easter Bunny is no longer viewed to our family as "magical" after our terrible experience. You lost the business of the many that witnessed our interactions that day. See you later this week,...
Read moreIt is amazing to see the decline of this mall within the last decade. It went from being a very popular shopping place, to a place full of a bunch of empty halls and odd clothing stores with inappropriately dressed mannequins on display. It's weird because I just want to take my kids to the mall sometimes but I know that the majority of these stores, in accordance with the world I guess, have half naked mannequins on display. What's with all the stores with the belly shirts, ripped dresses, and stringy lingerie? I saw at least 3 of them... The popcorn store is gone which was an all-time favorite, the broccoli slide is gone from the play area, so it's hard finding a reason to return to the mall anymore, for my family at least. We're a pretty conservative family of 5, for reference. Make the mall family friendly again, guys! That would bring it back to life. When we walked around the mall last weekend, we heard a whole bunch of people complaining about how much it has gone downhill. I don't think it's just simply because of how online shopping has been booming lately, I think it's just because this mall isn't being well maintained. There are a bunch of weird inappropriate stores in it now, the play area has not been well maintained, and the food court has pretty much died so that really explains the decline I guess. I agree with a few of the other reviews I've seen here, the majority of people that are there to visit the mall aren't there to spend money. I really think it would be beneficial for Lindale mall to add more Family...
