Panda Express — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

Terrible location. As another poster eluded to, their lobby has been closed for a long time. Far too long. I deliver as a side gig and will no longer pick up from here (and there’s A LOT more like me that no longer will). It’s not worth waiting 30 minutes in a drive thru lane to make maybe $8 if you’re lucky since that doesn’t include the time to drive to the “restaurant” (using that term VERY loosely since again, no dine-in and for sure NOT in any way “Express”) and then deliver the food which by the time I make it through the line is not fresh and barely warm because they prepped it when originally ordered. Originally there used to be one of their employees that if you called was kind enough to bring it out the door, but lately they won’t do that. So it just sits there waiting as I wait in the drive-through lane. IMHO, if I were ordering food for delivery, I would not order from this restaurant. You will not be getting very fresh food. If they are going to continue not providing service to delivery drivers via the door, they should just turn off the ability to accept orders for delivery. Worst experience every time I've tried to give them a chance. The staff is impolite unknowledgeable of product and of how the restaurant is ran. Our order was wrong every single time we had gone which was about five. Each time being something different. We had to wait over an hour on 2 different days to get our food. Staff was Unapologetic and crass. They even brought out the person behind us order and gave it to us. So I know it's not just us getting this service. I did call in, I also wrote, emailed and called corporate along with the local chain however nothing came of it not even an I'm sorry. Just a response email that they had received my email and they would look into the incident. I will not support a restaurant that not only threats people in that manner, but has little to no regard of problems with their system. I even called back several weeks later and tried to talk to somebody. Every time I called there was not a manager on duty or they would have the manager call me back and I never got a call back. This had to have been the worst fast food experience I've ever had. We went to drive up, I ordered a bowl with noodles. The guys said there was a wait for the noodles. I asked how long...nothing, I asked 3 more times, nothing. I asked if anyone was there...then the guys come back and with an attiutde yells back "I was checking on it for you, sheeesh!" Then he said 5 minutes and they were out of the meat I ordered. So I changed it and he said "So now you're changing your order?" DUH! I wanted to leave, but for some reason I didn't. We ordered and food and pulled around front to wait. Wasn't long and he showed up with our food, bothered look on his face and hands it over. There was no sauce so we asked for sweet sour....he rolled his as and said he'd be back. Looked in the bag, no silverware. So my girlfriend got out to go in and get it and the kid walks back out with the sauce, she said we needed silverware, and he rolled his eyes and and tossed the sauce to her and it fell on the ground.
