Don't be fooled, and ripped off, like I was. Sai Jewelers are negligent, unknowledgeable, rude, untrustworthy, dishonest, apathetic, irresponsible, unethical, and unprofessional.
I took my wedding rings to this shop to get them soldered together after our wedding. They assured me they could do it, no problem. They shattered the stone and ruined the gold on both rings. They admitted their jeweler was new and didn't know how to work with the gold or the stone.
They offered to replace with a stone they would order from somewhere overseas. They refused to replace it with a stone of equal quality from the same location as the original. They promised to "make it right" then changed their mind once they realized the value of my rings. Then they tried to belittle me and convince me it wasn't worth what the appraisal certificate says. They also didn't want to show me what the rings looked like after they destroyed them and I had to insist they give them back to me.
I ended up having to take it back to the original jeweler. He tried to contact this shop and get them to help offset the cost of the repair they caused and even suggested they use their business's insurance if they needed to. They stopped taking his calls.
After my husband spent an exorbitant amount of money to get it repaired I got the rings back and went back to Sai Jewelers. I asked if they remembered me and my ring they destroyed and asked what they were going to do since we had to pay so much to have it replaced. They said "So? What do you want me to do about it?" They wouldn't do anything. I asked if they would do the absolute bare minimum and pay our shipping costs to get it to the original jeweler. They begrudgingly did... a whole $80... not even a drop in the bucket to the total cost of the damage they did with their negligence and lack of knowledge for a simple process.
I understand mistakes happen and everyone is new and learning at some point, but had they actually made it right as they claimed they would, and not treated me so terribly, I would feel much differently about the situation. I gave them two different opportunities to do the right thing and not only did they refuse, they did so in a demeaning and...
Read moreI went to Sai in order to get my Grandmother's Ring re-sized for my Fiancee. It was $100 to resize from 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 and I dropped it off on a Saturday right before they closed.
1 week later I received a call from them 3 hours before I was going to pick up the Ring and they said that the prongs that hold the Diamond (excuse me for not knowing the true nomenclature) were not stable and if anything hit the diamond wrong I'd lose my stone. They offered to turn the 4 prong into a 6 prong for $120 and it would be done before I went to pick it up.
When I went to pick it up not only was the ring resized, but it was polished, the diamond looked bigger than when I gave it to them, they did a very professional job! They even gave me a new Ring Case in the shape of a heart for no charge so I could present the ring in an ALL ME fashion, but still keep the sentiment that it is my Grandmother's Ring.
Total Visit: 1 Hour Total # of Visits: 2 Length of Wait: 1 week Total Cost: $220 Services Rendered: Resizing (up 1 full size), Polishing, Re-Seating Diamond, Maintenance
5/5 - Not to mention that are very friendly. Additionally, I felt comfortable and much more confident when I found out that you must ring the Doorbell and wait for them to buzz you into the store. So you know they take, not only their customers, but their possessions seriously.
I WILL be returning in the future for any maintenance or alterations to my Grandmother's and soon to be my...
Read moreUpdate: This guy responds I only paid $120. I just went to the cherry creek mall and had this repaired for $60. I bet this won’t fall off this time.
Also, we both know what will happen if Inareive at your store and ask you to repair the necklace. Stop the comedy. Take care sir stop ripping people off.
No matter what jewelry you bring in, this guy will bash it if it’s not his.
This guy charged me $220 dollars to replace a clasp and it fell off in the shower.
Pricing, I’m sure you feel your jewelry deserves to be marked up, fair. But overpricing repairs your is a bit much. The mall does the same work.
Don’t go to this guy, let these type of businesses die out, we will be better for it.
Notice the names in all of the “positive reviews” notice anything?...
