I am literally the biggest L&L fan! Have visited the Aurora City Place location so many times over the years and LOVE their food and service and atmosphere. I was excited when this location opened as I live in Parker and its so much closer. My first visit I was disappointed, A lot of fly's hovering around the food you would think the young lady at the front would try and keep the food covered between orders but instead she ignored it, service wasn't great as the young girl who served me seemed uninterested at all while I was asking questions about the new menu items.. she also handed my food and payment with the same gloves on. The BIGGEST disappointment was my Mac Salad! Which is my absolute favorite menu item usually(I order all the time for large family events) was completely different than the other location I am not sure if maybe someone different is making it but you can definitely taste the difference. ... I guess driving the extra 20 mins is worth it. Hopefully they are able to improve on these things moving forward I fully support the family business and hope to see this location a success as well. I did try a second time and the service was improved I saw a few familiar faces from the other location however the Mac salad still does not compare...
Read moreOne of the best things that happened to Walmart since Walmart. This franchise is one of my favorite. They carry the amazing lava chicken which comes with a side of macaroni salad and two scoops of rice! It's a place I usually go to to relax after long hard day of work. I'll stop by and picked up some volcanic chicken as a matter of fact three combos worth. Stafford professional and ingredients were warm and welcome. Facility was generally busy with people eager spend their money on some of their good food. Unfortunately, Chicken I had didn't quite meet the bar. Chicken was burnt not fresh out and juicy and hot. Chicken was warm which makes no sense for something that came fresh out of a skillet. The same facility next to the Town center has served me well for the last 3 years with juicy hot strips of chicken. Not only does the sauce burn your mouth but the chicken itself is damn near on fire. Dripping with a fresh wet red sauce not brown. I think the cook just needs some good r&r. Otherwise the facility in this entire region is one of my favorite. I encourage you to stop by and try the lot of chicken and many of their other entrees. I hope the cooks work on there delivery of chicken. Note Never deliver burnt pieces. I don't...
Read moreTried L&L for the first time yesterday and now kicking myself for not going earlier.
They have a much bigger menu than I thought as the website for L&L shows fewer choices which I'm sure is based on the location.
I tried the plate with two entrees. Every bowl (one entree) or plate (two or three entrees) comes with white or brown rice or noodles. I chose 1/2 white rice that was nice & fluffy and 1/2 noodles (good but I think I'll stick to rice next time).
You get 2 sides with the plate option. I chose kimchi which was good but not incredible and the macaroni salad which is very traditional and tasty.
For my entrees I tried the garlic chicken based on the employees recommendation (very very good fried bites that were crunchy and not overly sauced). I also tried the kalua pork and cabbage that was tender, flavorful and filling.
For under $11 before tip (be kind folks!) this was a huge amount of food and I' have a very healthy appetite.
With 5 other entree choices, several cooked to order options like katsu, loco moco, garlic or fried shrimp, etc. I will definitely be coming back.
Yes it's in a Walmart. The tables and restaurant is clean and I would eat there (chose to take out as I was going...
