I’ll try to be brief, but this is bad, and people need to understand everything that happened here.
I purchased a folding utility trailer out of state, and the axle bearings failed halfway to PA. I stopped at a harbor freight along the way, got a new axle, and managed to finish the move. My SECOND time using it, a pothole broke a critical bolt holding the trailer to my vehicle. It was being held together by only a trailer hitch pin and cotter pin. I had someone come to me, unload the trailer and follow me slowly on city streets to harbor freight to immediately return the trailer. It was a very dangerous ordeal.
I asked for a refund, which I was entitled to because I’d only had it 2 months, but they denied it claiming sale restrictions in PA. Customer support assured them that a return was allowed even if sale was not. After PRESTON got off the phone with them, he called their manager TINA denied the return anyway and told me to take it to another state to return. I asked what store I should go to, and their supervisor LISA said it’s not their problem, and they’re not required to help me. I called customer support again, and they told me that since it is unsafe to transport then don’t do so.
I spent an hour getting dirty looks from staff while I was on hold dealing with customer support.
Their complete disregard for the safety of everyone on the road is appalling. I’ve been a customer of harbor freight for 20 years and have never been treated this way.

I went in, spent maybe three minutes in there, went straight in got what I needed and headed for checkout, when this tattooed girl with makeup comes over and tells me I have to have a masmor I have to leave the store. I told her that I was unable to wear a mask. She says if I don't out one on she will have to TAKE My items and I will have to leave, I head for checkout and try to checkout but the cashier refuses to ring me out. The manager and followed me and is still harrasing me as I try to checkout and leave. I told her multiple times that I was sorry but I cannot wear a mask. She continued to harrase me the whole time, with other customers in line. I finally had to leave since they refused to ring me out. I went to rural king and got what i needed with no issue.
