El Paso Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Center Township

If I could give them zero stars, I would. As I woke up this morning, little Madeline, Zachary and Josh were screaming "Chips, Chips, Chips!" The excitement on their faces to eat El Paso Chips N Queso is the reason I became a father. It gave my life purpose you could say. I placed my large order and they smiled in the background, dreaming of taking that first bite. I ordered 4 sides of queso, one for each of us. I picked up the food and took it home...only to begin the start of the worst day ever. Remember when Spongebob forgot the customer's Diet Dr. Kelp? I now know what that fish felt like. I opened the bag..........and no chips were found. Frantically looking around, I realized that what was once a dream, has now become a nightmare. As little Zachary, Madeline and Joshua looked up at me and said "Chips Please, Chips Please!", I was at a loss for words. Frozen and confused, I didn't know what to do. How do you look your children in the eyes and tell them your favorite Mexican Resteraunt doesn't give you chips when you order 4 sides of queso? HOW?! My children will now have to cry themselves to sleep at night knowing that they have no chips with their queso. Little Joshua hasnt came out of his room since this terrible incident, and El Paso is to thank for this. I now have a dream like Dr. King. I dream of a place that always gives chips when you order multiple orders of queso. I dream of a place you can rely on to put a smile on your face with the grace of chips. I will be bringing matters...

Good food, good service good prices. Nice atmosphere. Casual. Not a fast food place.

They have beer, wine, and margaritas, etc., with "Happy hour" on specific days and times. See photo attached for current deal.

No wait to get seats outside on the patio on a Tuesday night, without reservations.

Not enough protein with entrées, nor enough rice. Side of guacamole was good but incredibly small and barely enough for one person, no way it would be a portion size big enough to share.

I had the garlic shrimp entré, which was yummy. Everyone enjoyed their food and servers were pleasant.

Great salsa complimentary with warm chips.

Owners/management, if you read this... there is a tremendous and deep pot hole in your parking lot, that I unfortunately didn't see until I drove through it. I just pray my car doesn't have any damage! Please fix this asap!! Also, it's summer time. The tomatoes were pale and tasteless. This is peak season for tomatoes, so you don't get a pass on putting that on someone's plate. Please consider using fresh seasonal produce that has both eye appeal and flavor.

The food was pretty good. Seemed authentic Mexican. Portions were good. Service wasn't very attentive. It seemed like our server was more interested in what was going on around him than our table. We ordered a steak and shrimp fajitas for two at our table of four. It got there with no shrimp in it. It took several minutes to find our server and he had to be flagged down. We didn't want the shrimp after that, but wanted to make sure it was off of the bill. It's very loud inside. Very poor acoustics. A big open space with no baffles anywhere. We were sitting in the middle of the dinning room next to a server bus station. A place where they drop off dirty dishes. Very loud when they are putting dishes in the bus pans. We had a four top table and they asked us to move to another table so they could push two four tops together for a larger table. I thought that was kind of tacky. We were about done, just finishing our drinks. So, we decided to leave anyway. Not as good as Tacos and Tequila in Monaca. They are shut down though, after ICE...
