So I called AT&T’s 1-800 line after I switched to another carrier and I didn’t have my pin number to make sure my account was canceled so I didn’t get double bill from two different carriers. I was a loyal faithful Business account for over two years with no problems until now .They referred me to go to the store in Monaca PA. I also called the store and talked to a young man that was helpful and he told me bring my drivers license up and they will make sure the account is closed the same thing. The one 800 line told me.. And John a redheaded gray haired manager on 20 August 2025. He asked me what I needed it while he was juggling another customer. I told him that I spent 45 minutes on the phone with Hadebe. He said don’t make racist statements in the store. I said it wasn’t a racist statement. It was the guy at the Call Center‘s name. As soon as I told him I went with another carrier he then immediately shut down on me basically. I explained to him that the employee his colleague earlier in the day said all you have to do is bring in your drivers license and they will shut down the account or make sure it’s shut down. He said that is not true. You have to call the one 800 line which I did again today. They said you can do it at the store. He told me I was wasting this other gentleman‘s time after he was juggling. I have owned a business for over 24 years and never seen a circus act like this. He started getting loud and said you can wait 20 minutes now I said why would I wait 20 minutes to hear the same thing that you can’t help me? He’s like I’m telling you we can’t do it. What was funny? I asked them again today on the 1-800 lineI finally got the problem resolved. Also, what’s funny notice on the NEGATIVE reviews the owner doesn’t answer any of them strange hmmmm I’m wondering if it’s the manager responding he doesn’t work well under pressure. I can tell. I’m sure you’ll hear more about this manager in Monaca PA. I wish I had his districts managers number I’m sure they don’t like losing no problem business accounts at AT&T. However. The past 3 times I've been at this specific location I been treated like a degenerate. They have numerous employees working at all times; even though you are going to wait at least 15-20 minutes to be waited on. No one at this store has any way shape or form an ounce of politeness or empathy. Literally, all of them function as debauched machines with no emotion or consideration for the customer.
The management is egotistically shadowing people and many times jumps into a situation to reiterate when a customer is wrong. This leads into frequently belittling customers for lack of knowledge on products or terms of services agreement's regarding their contact.
I had a problem with my mother's sim card which turned into a hour and a half of my time just thrown away. I new what the problem was but the first person insisted with running the gambit of checks -never taking into consideration my claim to the issue. While waiting, I overheard a older women with another employee that was having a issue. I politely said "excuse me" ,then informed the women a point of advice. Immediately, my friendly gesture was greeted with misinformation on the subject, suppressing any options for this womem because I was wrong. Well, in the end I was right. While still waiting, I called corporate at&t and got a customer service rep on the phone and she validated my statement. I told her what happened and she took down the names of the employees and called the store directly to speak with management.
Again, this is for this store in particular, not at&t as a whole. In the end, the guy came back and told me they couldn't do anything for my sim card. Again, thus was false. Do yourself a favor and shop online or go to another store. I will not, or ever return to this store for anything! I never in my life seen so many people treated poorly and business conducted this way over...
Read moreI would provide negative stars if I could. Julie set up our service and it’s been terrible ever since. High bills. Almost $400 when we were told no higher than $130. Due to her mistakes, getting a phone shut off and having to create an entire new account we have to pay prorated charges again. Julie told me multiple times how sorry she was that she messed up and it was her fault and she was so sorry for it. been asking to speak with management for weeks and get one call and he didn’t have any of the info. I called into the store and was placed on hold- waited for 20 minutes on hold then drove to the store where I was still on hold for 45 minutes. Where Julie was scratching lottery tickets. I then spent two hours while Julie tried to fix it. Today one of our phones was shut off again and no one can provide answers. The manager Mike V told me I can just return it all and chose to wipe his hands clean of this. He said there wasn’t audio so there’s no proof of Julie saying she messed up. Manager told me that it’s my fault about the prorations because that’s what happens when you start a new account. Even though I didn’t create the account in the first place. He also let me know that our call wasn’t recorded so there’s also no proof of todays conversation. This is the second day someone’s work and pay is being affected by the mess at this ATT store. We just want service and to pay what we were promised. This has been going on since July. I spoke with a wonderful rep named Destiny from Firstnet who told me that they are able to see who made any changes on the account without having verbal recordings like the Manager Mike V said I needed. She was able to correct our account and provide us with a refund like we requested over a month ago and greatly apologized for the trouble . If you need help ask for her through Firstnet.
