Amanda was pretty rude to me. I wanted to buy just 2 pieces of jewelry, one on sale and the other not. She refused to check me out until I picked out more pieces of jewelry because they were running a deal so I picked out more. But because one of the pieces was on sale the deal wouldn’t work. So she again refused to check me out until I got even more jewelry just so the deal would work. When I didn’t even want 4-5-6 pieces of jewelry, I just wanted the 2 I had. I had to explain to her 3 times that I only wanted the 2 pieces I don’t want to get anything else. She wasn’t understanding and had to get someone else to ring me up. Riley rung me up while Amanda stood behind her rubbing her temples like I just gave her the biggest headache saying “this ladies making my ears hurt she’s so confusing”. Well Amanda maybe you wouldn’t have been so confused if you weren’t talking to other customers that weren’t even in line about the new school year. I had to wait for at least 2 minutes until you were done with your conversation before you even started to ring me up. Maybe you wouldn’t be confused if you paid any attention at all to the customers just trying to buy 2 pieces of overpriced jewelry and leave. The last 3 times I came in the workers refused to even open the jewelry cases until I picked out more than just 1 piece. Don't come to this location it's not what it used to be and that's because of the employee's, one in particular. I haven't been here in over six months and I won't be back. Last time I was here I was having a conversation with an employee. And another jumped into the conversation we were having. When asked about what we were talking about. I told the employee that because of my religion and my beliefs that I don't agree with what me and the other employee were discussing. And the employee who jumped into our conversation said that I was wrong, a bigot and my Mother didn't raise me the correct way and she should've done a better job because I'm a ruined person. When I tried to tell the manager about this and ask for the General Managers number so I can leave a complaint about that employee. The manager said No and he wouldn't give me the number because it'd be a waste of their time. Don’t go to this Spencers. My husband and I were in there earlier and we looked at some shirts, hats, wallets, and my husband looked at some earrings and stuff. He went to turn the display and didn’t realize there was someone on the other side of it. The female employee that was in there stopped the thing from turning and gave my husband a dirty look. My husband apologized 2-3 times to the person that was on the other side of it looking. The employee rang him up, he told her to have a nice day and we walked out. She told one of the security guards that he was in there yelling at her and yelling at me when NOTHING like that happened. All we did was look around and he bought a hat for himself. It’s sad that I had to deal with her lying about what my husband did and on top of that, there’s no security cameras in there so she most likely felt the need to lie about what he did for I don’t know what reason.
