I absolutely LOVE this Goodwill and all of them if I do have to say so myself. I am back in Southern Oregon after 14 years and where I was at before, the Thrift stores were terrible. There was one small one that was Ok , but prices were high and it had very limited items . I have become what you could say addicted to shopping at Goodwills and I stand behind their entire mission. I had to get an entire new wardrobe and am starting a new life and have to get everything for a new home. I got everything in my wardrobe, except for a couple of unmentionables at the Goodwills all over the Valley and I did even find beautiful bras for excellent prices and some were even new or close to it. I get bedding, beautiful expensive bedding for excellent deals. If you think about it, we keep bedding for many years, well most of us do. So paying $15-$20 for a comforter that would be $300 online is a steal in my book. I even get hair care and skin care , you name it. I have gotten to the point that I don't even like to buy things anywhere else , unless necessary. I enjoy looking through the racks of clothes and it's always a new store every time you go. The employees are always friendly and they are my favorite at the Central Point location. I can also say for the size of the CP Goodwill, they have quality items and lots of them. To the people who are complaining about the prices. Go to Kohl's or Macy's and buy the exact items that are at the Goodwill. You are paying four times the amount or more at the major retailers. I know not on every item. But when I get a $70 dress for $6.99, I can't help but smile and it makes my day. Also there are things at the Goodwill that you can't get anymore. I collect vintage Christmas decorations. I've found many amazing things there for Christmas. Also vintage Tupperware and Pyrex and things of that nature. LOVE GoodWill!!! Best...
Read moreI’ve been to this location many times, as it does get some gems from donors. It always has a very gross smell, but it is decently clean. Employees also can be very sarcastic and aren’t sure when to cut out the jokes. My biggest issue is the pricing. I would just be advised that whatever piece of clothing you donate will be marked for at least $7. I have found several small/thin scarfs that even have snags throughout that are marked for no less than $10.79. The Ashland goodwill keeps it old school at least- you can find a pair of Levi’s for $3. This goodwill, however, without a doubt, will mark any name brand item up to $15.99. It’s actually sad and makes me not want to go, regardless of what could have been donated. I have turned down many items due to pricing and am sure thousands of others do everyday. They were free for crying out loud!! Goodwill is not suffering by any means. So no I will unfortunately not be rounding up 25¢ until something changes and heavily worn flip flops...
Read moreI think the only way to Rate and Review any business is to have first hand knowledge of either a good experience or bad. But also an overall experience with all things considered. To be honest is the number #1 priority. I have been at the Central Point Goodwill at least a dozen times. People should know 1 bad experience out of a dozen times, Stupidly, incompetence and just no common sence trumps that rule. Seriously people at Goodwill Central Point you folks don't need more training you need a different job that should include common sense and thinking for yourself. I would to say at this point I would NOT RECCOMEND anyone to shop there as from my experiences. The asst manager Justin and the store manager, May just don't have any skills to be of help to any customer that expect normal thinking and people skills whatsoever. Drive to ANY other Goodwill location , no matter how far. Call me I will give you...
