⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’ve been on the hunt for authentic Indian cuisine since I moved to Waynesboro about 3 ½ to 4 years ago, and I can confidently say that India Cafe is the best place I’ve found! Having lived in India for several years, I truly appreciate the rich flavors and traditions of Indian cooking, and this cafe brings that experience right to my table.
From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The owners are incredibly nice and thoughtful, making sure every guest feels welcome and valued. They take the time to recommend dishes and share their love for the food, which adds a personal touch to the dining experience.
Now, let’s talk about the food! Every dish I’ve tried is packed with authentic flavors and made with fresh ingredients. The spices are perfectly balanced, and the menu offers a wonderful variety of options, from buttery naan to rich, savory curries. It's like a little slice of India right here in Waynesboro!
If you’re looking for a truly authentic Indian dining experience, look no further than India Cafe. It’s been my go-to spot for years, and I can’t recommend it...
Read moreWARNING TO EVERYONE: If you don't like the food, you get attacked. The Internet remembers everything. I shared the screenshot of the owner attacking.
Original review: Chicken tikka masala was the most bland and disgusting I have ever had in numerous states and countries. The chicken was rubbery fatty and the rice wasn't even warm. I'm actually concerned I'll get food poisoning from the little meat I ate. If you ever you ever want to make sure someone wants to never eat Indian, take them here. I spit out all the chicken I put in my mouth.
Update: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Poor customer service and attacking a paying customer for their review and honest experience. I paid for what I purchased and ate the parts I did because I was tired hungry and just wanted to get home.
I rarely ever give 1 star reviews. Now I would give zero after your response.
Response to owner: We were never asked if we liked it. We left all the chicken. Half of it in napkins partially chewed. Frozen pakora, stale...
Read moreFor anyone posting 4-5 stars, obviously has not eaten at another Indian restaurant. This place is super cheap about everything, even down to the sauces made, For anyone who questions this review, I ask you to try spice connexion (yes that is how it is spelled) in martinsburg wv or even banana leaf in Mechanicsburg. Order a naan once from any other place, and you will see a difference. This place makes the thinnest and smallest naan ever! Meat portions are extremely lean, and the sauces barely have any weight. Yes, they're so cheap that their sauces are thinned out. Sad... I love the cuisine, but for this place to still be in business is insane to me. I'm sure if you want something quick and do not feel like driving far... but with the price tags they have and the amount you're given...you are being ripped off. Also This is my third time eating from this establishment, and they have...
