Relax Lounge — Restaurant in Chambersburg

A fun bar setting, our visit had two live musicians (acoustic and electric guitar and vocals). We sat on the opposite side of the bar so we could have a conversation without being drowned out. This worked out great for us. We were promptly greeted by Lauryn and got our drink order in. After we received our drinks, we put in our dinner order; beef dip sandwich with sweet potato fries, and a rib eye with mashed potatoes and a salad with the raspberry vinaigrette. The salad came out fast and was great (super fresh ingredients)! It took about 35 minutes for our entrees to come out, but they were worth it. I had the red velvet cake for dessert and it was fantastic! The line obviously takes pride in the presentation of the food that goes out and everything was made correctly. Lauryn was very professional and well timed when seeing if we needed anything. This is definitely a good place to grab dinner if you're in the area. We were passing through and came on the recommendation of our hotel (The Hampton Inn down the road). Thanks again for the great...

Typically when you go into an eatery and order food... you expect it to be good food. I've been here several times and never had a bad experience ...... until today....ordered spankopitaka... when it came out it looked darker than it should, I ate one... it tasted burned... ate half of another because that one looked lighter..... nope was still burned tasting...called waitress over and told her they were burned and to take them back...... when check came I saw a charge for them... half charge but still a charge... when you send food back because it's burned...it's not expected that you'd pay for it... waitress said.. well you ate half you will pay for half...... that is not how you run a business and it's not how you earn repeat customers. It is how you get bad reviews...... and lose...

Kitchen was way backed up or understaffed. Apparently the "boss" was on the line and he's pretty unorganized is what we heard. What food we did receive was cold and poorly assembled. Tuna mikes way and chicken casadilla. Still waiting on entrees for getting close to an hour now. Weird because we had a reservation and they admittedly over booked and gave our table away. That said at least they were honest about what happened and worked quickly to rectify the sit. Overall, the menu is over stated for the cooking ability. Best thing of the night was our server. She did a great job checking on us and keeping us updated on the kitchen issue. I hope they get it together for the sake...
