The Nutrition Center Inc. — Local services in Chambersburg

I walked in the front door, the only person in the store, and was not greeted or even acknowledged by the person behind the register. Ok, fine, not a dealbreaker for me. What IS a dealbreaker is the price gouging in this store. Two brand name supplements, things I take all the time, were each marked up TWENTY DOLLARS more expensive than I normally pay for them. I thought to myself “there’s no way, maybe the price went up” googled both of them— nope. 20 dollars cheaper on both of their company websites. Then I noticed everything in there, even simple things like vitamin C or magnesium were outrageously priced. I took myself down the road to my local big box store and bought the EXACT same 2 supplements and saved myself FORTY DOLLARS. That is absolutely wild. I don’t mind spending a few extra dollars to support a smaller local business but FORTY DOLLARS?...

I love alternative health, but finding specific products can be difficult. This store has a great selection of these types of items. The only problem is that it is very expensive, and a lot of items I can find much cheaper online. I hate to say that, because I really love to support local places, but I also can't spend a fortune when I don't have to.

Their staff is helpful and friendly, and you feel welcome going into the store. I like having a store like this in town, I just wish the prices were a little...

Excellent resource for nutritional support and wellness products. The knowledge of the owner is vast and she was helpful in guiding me to products that may alleviate an acute condition. I appreciated her willingness to listen and understand my needs. This is a wonderful shop with something for nearly everyone. I will be back. Thank you and keep up...
