Everyone tells of a bad pool construction experience. I really thought a company that had been in business for over 50 years would deliver a great project. I built a house 4800 ft.² at the same time as the pool and less time than it took to construct a pool. Problems range from poor site management, poor quality installation failure to deliver preselected design, and warranty issues not supported. Here are a few examples. (1) the sales person accepted using Techo bloc as the coping. Three months later, the construction manager said no they would not install it. I had to find my own installer. Several months later Artistic Pools decides they will not only carry the line, but install Techo bloc. (2) 24 hours before we were installing the pebble tech they told me my color was no longer available and I need to pick something else.(3) I have had multiple leaks on the pool and artistic refuses to support the corrective action. I’ve had to do it myself. (4) once they have you under contract getting a callback is near to impossible. The list goes on and on but I feel like if you spent $140,000 on on a pool you should get service and you should get a call back. Now I’m still dealing with a leaking pool and a collapsing patio. I’ve called the office multiple times, and I can’t even get a callback from the owner within 10 days. Feel free to call me if you would like to know more....
Read moreIn the fall of 2020, I spoke with several pool construction companies about building a pool for my new house. I met on site with David Stinson, Master Pools, Chattanooga (aka Artistic Pools, Atlanta). He outlined his vision of the pool, including travertine decking and an infinity edge, that would fit the house and mountain setting. At the end of the meeting I knew he was the guy I wanted to build my pool.
Given the challenges of doing business during Covid, there certainly were unexpected delays and a few setbacks, some not minor. The mark of an excellent company is how they handle difficulties and unexpected challenges and this is where David and his colleagues earned my respect. As expected the pool took much longer to build but it was done right.
I was also fortunate to work closely with Erika Jorgensen in the Atlanta office. She was invaluable in assisting me make travertine, stone, tile and PebbleTec choices. While David was my first contact and soon the architect, he has stayed in contact with me to this day making sure I have no issues or problems with my pool. My family, guests and I thoroughly enjoy the pool.
I highly recommend David, Master Pools, Inc. and Artistic Pools and their team of highly...
Read moreArtistic Pools built our pool starting in 2020 and finishing in 2021. Right in the middle of covid. Even in the midst of all of the stress and material/supply anguish, they knocked it out of the park. From the initial consultation with the sales team, through the design phase, the construction and the final finish phase, things could not have gone any better. I met a lot of members of their team during the process. From the salesman to the project manager and his subs, the girls at the office and even the boss man, Ron. They all seemed to have my best interest at heart with the desire to take care of my every concern and care during the build. The subs they used were friendly and seemed to know exactly what their job was and did it perfectly. The landscaper they recommended had exquisite and unique ideas and matched the theme of what I desired perfectly with the uniqueness of the pool. Seems like a company based on genuine integrity of personnel and product as well as strong character and concern with the highest degree of standards. I would absolutely recommend them as a 1st choice in the design/install world of...
