My granddaughter had an appt for braids for her prom she talked to someone who told her what hair to buy . My granddaughter told her she was novice at this My granddaughter ordered the exact hair this girl told her to get off the Amazon site she told her She told her the price would be $317. (Wow) But whatever. She went today and was early to her appt after skipping school for this. The lady then told her the hair wasn't right and it would be too long and it wouldn't work and that it wasn't what they had discussed. She then charged her $175 for a consultation fee. My granddaughter is devastated and broke and no one now to fix her hair for her prom Saturday. Obviously the person is not professional and jerked around this poor 16 yr old. She didn't even give my granddaughter her name. Well at least that's one way to not get bad reviews don't give out her name. I came to the mall to take my son shopping for his birthday. As we were shopping I realized he needs a hair cut real real bad. I stopped inside and this woman advised she has an appointment but she can maybe fit us in. We waited a little bit to see if we would be able to get serviced. Her appointment showed up but he was so sweet and said my son could go first. So needless to say she got him done, got him done quick. The cut looked so good. My son loved it(most importantly). She gave me so many tips that nobody ever told me to do with his hair. I’m forever thankful for this woman. I purchased everything she told me about. I planned an appointment for my son and me 3 days in advanced. Even called the day of 3 hours earlier to confirm. We arrive and have 3 heads ahead of us. Ok. Then we sit down and wait...20 minutes later she (Dove) asked to speak with me just to tell me she could not braid my hair. I just had it done by a neighbor 3 weeks prior. Essentially a planned appointment and a combined roundtrip of 40 miles just to be told no. Another stylist said she could do it...just not today.Clients time is of no consequence.
