I happened to meet the owner of DIGS downtown last summer and she mentioned that she was opening a store and the opening day was going to be the next day. Anyway, I was going for a walk the next day and happened to stumble upon the store, so I stopped in. I was really surprised and impressed, immediately: obviously the store was really nice, but they were having a full opening day party for the public, with complementary champagne and hors d'ouvres. I was kind of blown away -- I thought the gesture was extremely classy, but more importantly, showed a lot of character. I'm a small business owner here in town as well, and because all of DIGS' vendors were there, I offered to take a photo of all of them in front of the new building so they could remember the occasion. I realize that running this type of store is an artform and a gift to the community; sourcing the inventory takes a lot of time and effort and taste, and it's not something I take for granted. So I just want to say thanks for being here in Champaign -- and thanks for the chair I bought today. 😊

This store is absolutely my favorite thing on campus! I have been to MANY vintage/second hand stores like this in my life but this one ALWAYS takes the cake!!! They continuously have new items. I go about once a month just to walk around even if I don’t purchase anything (but I usually do end up buying something) and the store has many new items and sometimes is completely rearranged! This store is so so so fun, the items are perfectly curated; some are very practical more basic items, and LOTS of fun and funny stuff (usually where I lean toward). I cannot recommend this store enough. The ladies working there are always so nice. Perfect place to buy a gift for somebody too. Photos include the various items I have bought there. LOVE

This is a wonderful shop we visited at the end of April 2025 1and so much bigger than you'd think from the outside. We really enjoyed exploring all the nooks and crannies. We were killing time while awaiting testing for our dog at the veterinary hospital. We definitely recommend this charming store and plan to come back in the near future.
