Clutch Cuts — Local services in Champaign

I came in for a simple haircut. All prices listed on their website are incorrect. Expect ~$10 more. One of the reasons I came here in the first place was the price. If I knew that, I wouldn't have gone. I was charged for a "full throttle" bundle at $30, which according to their website includes a shampoo, haircut, and style. I was only offered a haircut and when asked about the bundle the "stylist" said that's just a haircut. In addition to the price, stylist did not seem to understand anything I was telling him to do and left me floored that he even thought he was done on several occasions. Attempted to strike up a general conversation twice throughout the process, like most people do, and he was uninterested. Even a chain haircut place I regularly go (nationwide) offers to put product in to help a cut look better at every location, without even asking. I was not offered anything. Advice to help, update your website or take it down altogether. That is where people will be looking for info on the place. Stop lying to your customers about what each bundle includes if you won't provide it even after asking for it. And I'm not sure if it was just this "stylist" but teach them to be a little more customer...

Clutch is great! Before joining, I spent nearly two years trying to find a stylist in the area that was consistent, friendly, reliable, and accessible. A good friend of mine recommended Clutch and I haven’t looked back since!

My experience at Clutch has been great, I recommend it to all of my family, friends, and colleagues. It has a welcoming atmosphere, the employees provide great customer service, and the product (cutting hair) is great. It’s located in downtown Champaign which adds a special touch! Above all else, I know what I’m getting each time I have an appointment.

My stylist, AJ, is the best. She’s friendly, personable, and does an awesome job! Mary, another employee, always says hello and remembers me too! The little things make a difference, and their attention to detail is second to none.

My family loves coming to Clutch! The workers are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. My husband won’t get his hair cut anywhere else and after coming to clutch with him I can see why. The barbershop itself is a very relaxed environment and because of the smaller size, it made it easy for everyone to talk together and laugh together. Sharing their experience. While there I saw different services being performed. Color, beard trims, nose, and ear waxing and what they refer to as their “Signature Clutch Cut” (my husband got that) It included a steam towel on the face during the shampoo along with a hot leather neck shave after the cut.
