Unfortunately tonight my experience was not a good one! I drove over an hour to buy a wrap blanket for a friend after determining online that the store had them in stock. Upon arrival and attempting to locate this item on my own I finally encountered a sales associate, who when asked told me no such item existed! I showed him the online website for the store, which clearly indicated that they did carry this item. After only a very half hearted attempt to "look" for the item he sought out another employee who also insisted this was not something they had ever had! I made 2 complete rotations of the sales floor, attempting on own to find this item. On a second pass thru blankets dept yet another employee insisted no such item existed. As I was leaving in utter frustration, an employee returning from a break said "oh yeah...we have that!" She headed immediately to a shelf....where none remained! When I asked if there could be any in the back stock the first employee immediately stated "no, everything we have is on the shelves". The second employee offered to go look. Shortly she came back with 4!!!! But regrettably not in the color I was wanting. As I was turning to leave and she was starting to place these items out on display she uncovered 1 more and called me back. It was the exact color I needed! What should have been a 20 minute excursion thru the store and checkout turned into a 50 minute ordeal of frustration and little help! Only because of my persistence was I able to purchase what I had made the long trip for. Needless to say I will think long and hard before making the drive to this store again. I guess that's why more people are...
Read moreWe had the opportunity to stop at Flessor's since we were driving through Tuscola. We haven't been here for several years. The city of Tuscola and their residents were wise to invest in this private business when the owners needed help with restoration of this wonderful business First off, the old time ambiance is great, the candy counter is present as you enter to your left and diner counter is to your right. The booths and tables are towards the back of the restaurant. The menu has diner food, which is very well done, my granddaughter had the fanciest peanut butter sandwich I've ever seen, very well done on very good bread. Chili was good, as was my grandsons chicken tenders and pasta salad. Both kids got huge milk shakes. Let's not forget that candy counter. Best pecan bark ever.....I shouldn't have taken that generous sample to begin with....my granddaughter topped off her pb sandwich and chocolate shake with homemade chocolates of her own. We should have taken pics of our food but we were too busy eating... Thank God we decided not to stop...
Read moreFor the past few days we have been told many different things. We went there to buy my husband some dress shirts and ties. One of the ladies working there told us of a pre sale. She made it seem as if we could put the cloths we have picked out on a hold till the sale date to get them at the sale price and up till that date we could put money down on our purchase. That was very much not the case as we went back a few days later to do just that. The next sales ladie we spoke to said that is not what they do. She told us that we have to swipe our card and we wouldn't be charges until we pick them up after the sale date. Wrong again, we got charged that very day. So we went back the next day to tell them this and a different sales ladie told us that you can only do that with a credit card. No one there was on the same page. At this point we are just trying to get our money back and they can't even do that! I very much dislike the run around and will be taking my...
