I had an Endoscopy done by Dr. Nguyenduc last month. It was a super fast and comfortable procedure for me. I’ve had this done in the past and there was no comparison as in the previous times I was awake and didn’t like that. Dr was very personable, very knowledgeable, very professional. His demeanor was pleasant, and I immediately felt I was in good hands. (For me first impression and trust is crucial) His staff were super! The procedure went well. Dr. Nguyenduc was nice and explained everything pre and post procedure adequately. The issue I have is with the billing. Apparently the initial consultation is separate from the procedure. My procedure was a preventative procedure so insurance covers it 100%. Because he does not include the consultation with the procedure insurance will not cover it 100%. If I cannot have the procedure without the consultation then why would they not be one in the same. I feel it is a very shady practice and would not recommend him for any...

Honestly one of the worst doctors I have been to. The first appointment went okay, except that it was clear that his phone was the most important thing in the room, not the concerns about my own health. My follow up appointment after the procedure when I asked any question, between him answering texts, he acted like I was an idiot and gave me short answers and made me feel like I’m wasting his time with my (stupid) questions.
