The staff at Chandler Pediatric Dental were friendly and efficient with my son's appointment, the office itself was clean and had an interesting bubble wall feature which seemed to help put patients at ease. We also noticed there were what looked like i-Pads set up along the pony wall for the kids, we didn't use them but another patient was playing on them and seemed to be happily entertained by what was on the screen. The large fish tank was a nice feature, but it could use some TLC.
The availability of online "new patient" forms made our initial visit much quicker, even though I did have to submit the forms twice and call them to ensure the forms were received. I recommend calling the office if you choose to do the forms online, just so there aren't any unhappy surprises when you go to your appointment. Other than that the check in was easy and we did not have to wait long to be called back.
The one thing I wasn't so happy about was when the dental staff member took us back to the room for my son's exam, this lady was very nice but she didn't introduce herself or explain what she was going to be doing with my son. She was very nice and did a good job with my son's cleaning and x-rays, I just had to ask her what her name was and it felt awkward. I did a lot of the explaining while he was being examined and cleaned, which was fine but I feel like if this office is going to cater to pediatric patients then the staff should be educated about how to communicate with young children.
The dentist who came to see my son after his teeth were cleaned was Blake Tucker, who did introduce himself and explain what he would be doing with my son, and that was comforting. Blake told us Dr. Scoresby was doing some fillings so we wouldn't be able to meet him, but that he (Blake) would take good care of us. Blake gave us some good recommendations about my son's tooth health and my son was able to put a fish on the "no cavity club" wall, which he enjoyed.
Overall, I would recommend Chandler Pediatric Dental and I will continue to take my son there in the future. I hope this review makes it to the management of this facility so they can take my suggestions under consideration and continue to provide excellent service to our community and our children. We will be visiting again in 6 months at which time I will update my review, thank you for taking the time...
Read moreWe recently moved to Arizona and chose this pediatric dental office based on all the glowing 5-star reviewsâdonât let that fool you. My 7-year-old son has been a patient here, and as someone who has worked as a dental office manager for 24 years (and still works remotely in the field for another state), I know what good care and communication should look like.
At his last two visits, the practice was fully aware of an ectopic eruption of his permanent molar. His baby tooth needed extraction, and we discussed monitoring and an orthodontic consult.
A couple of days ago, my son started having pain. I reached out through their website and received no call back. Yesterday, I called the office around 1 PM, and they told me the doctor had already left and they couldnât schedule anything until they spoke to the doctor. Today, they finally called and told me to see an orthodontistâwho doesnât do extractions! For an existing patient, the earliest appointment they offered was 8/26âalmost two weeks awayâwhile my child is in pain.
I still called Dr. Woolaver (the orthodontist they referred) and he kindly squeezed us in today. His exact words: âWhy are you here? They should pull the tooth.â He confirmed that the permanent tooth isnât fully erupted and thereâs nothing for him to do right nowâhe even gave us a referral for another pediatric dentist. Thanks to Dr. Amy Ash, my son will finally be seen tomorrow for his pain.
This level of care from Dr. Tuckerâs office is unacceptable. When a child is in pain and the practice has known about the issue for months, there should be urgency, not delays and excuses. Pain...

I canât say enough wonderful things about Chandler Pediatric Dental and the entire team. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile, and the atmosphere was so inviting and child-friendly. My son was a bit anxious about his appointment, but the staff made him feel comfortable and at ease right away.
They are fantastic with kids! They took the time to explain the procedures in a fun and engaging way that my son could understand. They are incredibly patient, and I appreciate how they made the visit a positive experience for him. The attention to detail and care for their young patients is evident, and I felt confident that my son was receiving top-notch dental care.
The office is also well-equipped with toys and games, making the waiting area enjoyable for kids. I love how they prioritize dental health while ensuring the experience is fun and stress-free.
I highly recommend Chandler Pediatric Dental to any parent looking for a pediatric dentist. We couldnât be happier with our experience and look forward to...
