I had some major billing issues as a patient here.
Prior to scheduling my appointment I spoke with a young man at the office who confirmed that he ran my insurance and the services were covered. Well the young man did not tell the truth nor ran my insurance ( he did not do the job he was supposed to do but lied and said he did )
Due to this error by Chandler Dental, I was given a bill. I explained the situation and it was also confirmed by the office, that this invoice was due to an error by Chandler dental. The office collects any payments after the visit and also told me I owed nothing based on what they were told.
I spoke with the Office Manager, who did not take accountability for their error nor was sympathetic to my concerns. She actually stated that it didnāt matter if they lose me as a patient for a $146.00 charge, was quoted would be $0.00; on recorded conversation.
I am disabled and make very little money due to my disability and she knew this, but showed no empathy toward the situation !!
Then it got worse I had the unfortunate chance meeting with the young lady Alexis at the front desk has also acted unprofessionally solidifying the complete lack of moral compass and ethical business practices of this practice.
She was very condescending and rude, I will not be coming back as a patient.
Nicole the office manager is even worse, she used foul language and is the first person I have ever met that lacks any common sense. Her actions will cause this dental office to lose a nominal amount of patients and subsequent monetary losses.
This is the new world we live in of sheer ignorance and lack of accountability and respect, Liberal / Wokism.
Funny thing is medical or dental bills under $500.00 no longer affect your credit scores.
Of course I pay all of my medical bills that I am responsible for. I do have a moral and ethical Compass; something that this practice unfortunately has not shown in handling this matter in a professional fashion.
ANYONE THAT HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE SHOULD TAKE THE TIME TO READ BELOW BEFORE YOU PAY YOUR BILL !! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY ANY BILL UNDER $500.00 KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

WASHINGTON, D.C. ā Today, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) finalized a rule that will remove an estimated $49 billion in medical bills from the credit reports of about 15 million Americans. The CFPBās action will ban the inclusion of medical bills on credit reports used by lenders and prohibit lenders from using medical information in their lending decisions. The rule will increase privacy protections and prevent debt collectors from using the credit reporting system to coerce people to pay bills they donāt owe. The CFPB has found that medical debts provide little predictive value to lenders about borrowersā ability to repay other debts, and consumers frequently report receiving inaccurate bills or being asked to pay bills that should have been covered by insurance or financial assistance programs.
The CFPBās action follows changes made by the three nationwide credit reporting conglomerates ā Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion ā who announced that they would take certain types of medical debt off of credit reports, including collections under $500, after the CFPB raised concerns about medical debt credit reporting in early 2022. Additionally, FICO and VantageScore, the two major credit scoring companies, announced they have decreased the degree to which medical bills impact a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was a patient at Chandler Dental from 2021-2022 after choosing Dr. Saunders for some personal work. At the time, I had been in the area a few years and selected this office as my regular dentist after some searching. Finding a trustworthy dental office and dentist you like can be daunting, so I was relieved to have found one I was happy with. I did later move to another state for a short time and had to cancel future appointments. After moving back to the area, I naturally wanted to return to the same dentist. A few weeks ago, I went to reach out to book an appointment. Since their office hours conflict with my work hours, I submitted a scheduling request via the online form, after hours. However, instead of receiving the next available appointment options as I had in the past, I encountered a frustrating, week-long back-and-forth that never resulted in a clear answer about availability. I asked about a specific date I already had off and requested to see Dr. Saunders. I was informed that the date was unavailable and that Dr. Saunders typically does exams on Wednesdays. Remaining flexible, I asked about openings on upcoming Wednesdays. Despite sending this message on a Thursday afternoon, I didnāt hear back until that Monday, when I was offered an appointment that suddenly opened at 8:00am that Wednesday. Since I now live 25ā30 minutes away, that short notice didnāt work for me. I replied, stating that 9:00am would be the earliest I could make it. At this point, I expected a more straightforward response with the next available options, but instead, there was no response. I decided to share feedback that this experience made me hesitant to continue using this office for dental care. The response I received included āWeāre sorry you feel that wayā which felt insincere and dismissive. Instead of taking accountability or addressing the issue, they mentioned how challenging it is to find openings at the end of the year. This response felt like a deflection and left me feeling as though they didnāt care about accommodating me as a patient. Overall, the entire interaction felt mishandled and unprofessional. Iām baffled as to why a simple scheduling request was so poorly managed and why a patient would be treated this way unless it was intentional. It would have been much more helpful and in service to simply provide the next available appointment times, whenever that is, and let me decide whether I wanted to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI booked a cleaning appointment with Chandler Dental this summer due to proximity and convenience. Boy, did I get lucky!
The dental assistants and hygienists were all amazing, easy to talk to, and so friendly. My teeth started going rogue 7-8 years ago and the changes in my smile and bite were driving me bonkers. I finally decided to inquire about taming the side quests my teeth had been on, and Dr. Behnam was fabulous at offering me advice and various treatment options. I was very lucky in that I had a short, 16 week Invisalign treatment. For those concerned about pricing, Chandler Dental offers several payment options. Dr. Behnam even was willing to find a way to send me the video of my before/after transformation because Iām a giant nerd. He didnāt have to do that, but he did anyways. He was very quick to answer questions throughout my treatment when they arose.
A resin button came off one of my teeth after my first week of Invisalign. Chandler Dental got me in on the same day to replace it. That particular tooth was in STRONG disagreement about the feng shui of the resin placement and staying affixed to it. Dr. Behnam and his assistant patiently attempted replacing/shaping/curing it 7 (seven) times over a 45 minute period before my fang finally relented and agreed to join the collective team effort. He never ONCE got frustrated and kept a great sense of humor about the cartoon-like situation that was occurring.
This team truly takes the extra time needed to do things right, not cut corners, problem-solve, and keep their patients comfortable throughout any process. Most importantly, theyāre professionals that can have fun and use humor when needed, care about their patients, and do everything in their power to provide their patients the best possible results.
16 weeks later, my teeth are fabulous and I didnāt need any extra trays. (Fellow patients, wear your trays for the instructed 21+ hours a day, use your chewies, etc. Thatās how you get on-time or faster results.)
Iāve never been loyal to any dental practice, but for the first time in my life I can say that I am. I highly recommend Chandler Dental to anyone who needs cleanings or orthodontics work. Everyone has been friendly, helpful, compassionate, and made all my appointments stress-free.
15 out of 10 stars, a gold medal, and a bonus first place trophy from me as a patient.
