The technician David that came out was amazing. I had a vision of what I wanted my home theater to be and he made it better than I could have imagined. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I dealt primarily with the office per email so I was concerned that they weren't going to be able to perform the service that I needed, and to my expectations. Blown away by the end results!!!! Modern Smart Home was also able to have to my home, delivered within an hour, a new amplifier and in ceiling mid surround and atmos speakers!!!! No one tried to upsell me at any point for additional products and services, but with having an experienced tech like David he was able to explain that I wasn't even close to reaching my expected potential with my current equipment. He set everything up for me. Wiring looks clean, tv mounted perfect....and the SOUND! Atmos at its finest!!! I am so thrilled that I contacted Modern Smart Home, and I would recommend them to friends and family that need anything done to make their home an entertainment marvel that will make everyone jealous! I am so happy I chose Modern Smart Home to connect our surround sound components following our move here to Arizona from the East Coast! They were AMAZING and extremely helpful! Dave, their installer and sound expert, is the absolute BEST. He is patient and knowledgeable. Our subwoofer we had for years no longer worked. Dave knew exactly which replacement speaker for me to order on Amazon, which would fit with our system and also our budget. He returned a few days later to set up the new subwoofer and also hook up our 1990s-era VHS player (it needed an adaptor, which I also ordered through Amazon) It was late in the day and there were a few challenges getting it to work. However, Dave was patient and kind, and determined to get it working and get it right. We are THRILLED with the sound! And the remote for the system is intuitive and easy to use. Nathan and Tessa were also a joy to work with. Nathan was able to assist with our budget by recommending another quality Denon receiver half the price but had what we needed for now and the future. Personally I thought their staff was great and very knowledgeable. I had them hang a few TVs in my home. Unfortunately our Brand new QLED was hung downstairs with three bolts into studs and one not. This was ok, I guess for just the TV. I installed a Sonos Soundbar properly on the TV after dismounting it. Worked great for about 3 days until I noticed the TV mount came out of the wall. I called immediately but took the tv off the mount. (now mind you, I was never explained to that if we took the tv off the mount at anytime, it Nulls the warranty on their work). By their mount coming off the wall, it caused the Soundbar to crack the screen. They refused to pay for it! Instead they requested I pay them to purchase a new TV. First I am a retired Veteran on a fixed income, so for us to pay for another TV is ridiculous when it wasn't our mistake. Anyone should be able to install a soundbar without the mount falling off! They made every excuse not to pay however and because the soundbar was the culprit of the crack, they think their mounting was done correctly.
