This place claims to be under new management? I would save your money and just go to Fired Pie across the parking lot! I came in and waited and waited and waited ...noone came. The restaurant was unattended for quite some time. I yelled out "hello" several times no response, I decided to wait around because I was meeting my boyfriend. When my boyfriend arrived finally a loud bell rang and STILL NOONE CAME OUT TO SERVE US. I decided to call the restaurant number to see if anyone was working or if the restaurant had been abandoned, robbed or if someone was in serious danger. A man answered the phone, I asked if they were open and he said yes. I explained that I was in the restaurant waiting in front to be served, he said what, huh? What huh over and over and I repeated myself and said that I was inside the restaurant waiting to be served, he acted as if I waa interrupting him or lying he then popped his head out from the open door which was next to the employee only area and proceeded to stay on the phone and talk to me even though I was directly in front of him. He then hung up the phone and said "oh" and walked back into the employees only area to grab his work hat to put it on. Clearly this man was being very lazy, not doing his job and was COMPLETELY unprofessional!!I could have robbed the place or helped myself to some food or even drinks. Not to mention the raw fish that was out I could have contaminated the entire restaurant if I wanted to! When I realized that I decided I no longer wanted to ear there, due to that fact alone! That food was left unattended while I was in there for over 10min, the restaurant was completely deserted! I didn't trust to eat there! If someone could leave raw fish unattended that long who knows what else went on before I got there! 🤦♀️😤 There was also an empty food bowl on the table 🤷♀️ This happened today January 26, 2020 at 4:52 pm! I left and spent my...
Read moreI've been going to the same dry cleaner for a long time. And there's a sushi bowl that's next to it. I decided this time. I'll try it. I was surprised when I ordered 3 protein. That cost was almost $20. I was impressed of how much food I actually got. The food was good. But I was impressed because the server what's not scared to put enough food onto my plate. I told my wife that I like this place. But let me explain i've been going to the same chinese restaurant for almost thirty years. Called May Gardens. On fifty ninth avenue in in school And still going strong the reason why is because they really make sure that they give you enough food that you'll be happy and you definitely will come back. One of the best chinese restaurants i've ever went too. I felt wow, this sushi bowl place is almost like that. They give you enough for price. I decided to try it again, but there was a new server. She was so scared just to put anything on on the plate. But then I saw the server that was serving me the other day. He was serving somebody else. The plate that he served with those 2 people was so much different than the new server. And I told her I'm paying almost $20 for this. And that's all you can give me. I just felt dissatisfied with a company that wants to serve people. But it's afraid to serve anything for the price that they're asking! What I'm saying is if you if you're a restaurant owner. Be consistent with everyone trainer employees to do the same for everyone and your business...
Read moreI was staying at a hotel when I picked up a to-go order from here, which means I didn’t have any eating utensils, napkins, or condiments with me.
I ordered 3 sushi rolls, so I can’t speak for the poke bowls, but I did ask when I picked up my order if there was already soy sauce and eating utensils in the bag. She said “yep!” I should have checked the bag myself, but I didn’t since she sounded confident it was all taken care of. So I go back to my hotel only to find there is not a single napkin, no chopsticks or eating utensils of any kind, one wasabi packet (which is fine because that’s all I needed) but only ONE tiny packet of soy sauce for 3 rolls. I was so upset. After just having been on the road for over 3 hours, I was exhausted, hungry, and did not want to get back in my car.
So I ate my food with my hands and only got about 4 bites with soy sauce as that’s all the little packet lasted me. The sushi was just ok. Not a lot of flavor. I’ve had much better sushi plenty of times before from average looking places. I wish I would have ordered from somewhere else. I’ve never ordered take out before this and not been given plenty of eating utensils, napkins, and condiments in...
