Eastgate — Local services in Chapel Hill

The parking is a zoo & difficult to get a decent parking place without door dings, some folks park bad & I have even see someone key a car in the past because the key-er took up more space than they were designated with the stripes. They keyed the car, because the key-er could not put her own car in her own designated lines. If I had been able to get the license plate info, you better believe I would have called the police for that criminal mischief, and done everything in my power to see that they were punished. I do not believe in damaging someone else's belongings especially when you are the one at fault. You do not mess with folks' cars, homes, families, or pets. I love Eastgate. The new Aldi is amazing. They have so many great prices , super fresh produce. Also gift ideas for a friend or your self. I've bought a bird feeder, at a rediculous low price . I have to look out for our feathered friends in the winter. At home Duke Park Durham. And two urns . It's a short drive from anywhere. The manager Brandy knows customer service. The employees are friendly and give more than a 3 word reply. Helpful. store is kept cool which is great. A light long sleeve shirt might be a good idea. My last trip was cut short the kids set the car alarm off. Moser Roth candy I believe was $1.99. Dark 85 % Cocoa my favorite. Contains 5 individually wrapped bars....

Eastgate's claim to fame (IMHO) is Trader Joe's. If you have never been to a TJ shop, do yourself a bit favor and head out to Eastgate in Chapel Hill, NC. Excellent prices, a full stocked wine section with an extremely knowledgeable consultant on site at all times, wide (very) assortment of dried fruits and nuts wwaaaaayyy beyond the peanuts, almonds, and cashews available everywhere else. First time I have found shelled hazelnuts by the pound. Friendly, competent, attentive work force ready to drop whatever they are doing to help you find something.
