Clean Juice — Restaurant in Chapel Hill

I have healed multiple chronic issues with juicing, gone on several 30 day juice fasts, and I have many years under my belt of both juicing regularly and researching deeply on the subject.

ALL this to say, THIS CLEAN JUICE has answered a need in the area AND a long desire of my heart. I have heard from the community, observed interactions, and experienced myself, that they do a great job with their service, help in navigating the menu, customizing orders for special needs or preferences, quality, and much more.

ON PRICE: It is vital that the veggies are all organic. I will not write an essay on this quality. Those that have said anything about price are misinformed on what it actually takes to juice at home, and what it actually costs to 1. even juice, 2. use ALL organic ingredients, and 3. to actually pay the employees and rent. - I NEVER write reviews but just had to based on the misconceptions of what these items are supposed to cost.

Excited to go somewhere locally that makes me feel like I'm in beautiful sunny California where they know how to make higher health standards more readily available at these prices.

Usually I love this clean juice. I always do an online order because I go to school down the street and only have a small lunch period. Today it said my Order would be ready by 12:15. One of the employees seemed new because they just kept getting flustered and couldn't work the blender so just kept re stocking the napkins and playing on their phone. At 12:30 I finally went up to the counter to ask about my order and stood there waiting for a good few minutes before the employee on their phone finally noticed me standing there and looked me like I had 5 eyes when I showed him my pick up order. He said the salad should be made soon. It's just frustrating because I saw they had orders coming in and only 1 of them was working on it but they just kept talking to talk to each other and would stop anything they were doing. The lady before me said it took over 12 minutes for them to make her açaí bowl. Hopefully it was just an off day usually the service here is great! But today I was beyond disappointed. I won't even have time to eat my lunch I wish I just went...

Excellent service and a store with excellent covid precautions. I hadn't been to this location in a while and was pleasantly surprised to see this Clean Juice location had their staff masked up and was asking clients to wear masks inside as well. This is a stark contrast to the Durham Southpoint store which does not do either and something I found appalling.

I live between both stores equally but tend to be over near the Southpoint store, but their poor covid precautions mean I'll eagerly go out of my way to the Franklin St. store to support them since they have a culture that cares about their staff and their customers.

My to go order (almost always The Recovery one with added blue berries and honey) was ready even before the app said it would be and tasted great. Very easy to pick up and get in and out of the store. Parking on a Saturday afternoon can be a little busy but they have convenient parking up front for running in to get orders.
