Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken - Chapel Hill — Restaurant in Chapel Hill

I love going to the Eastgate Rise biscuits. I always order ahead on the app. It gives me the approximate time my order will be ready and I get a text when it's ready for pick-up. Everyone is welcoming and I'm always greeted when I arrive. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. They have the best fried okra and blueberry biscuit! My goto biscuit is the bacon egg cheddar cheese on cheddar cheese biscuit! It's a busy place. Always someone in and out. They close at 2 so you better hurry! P.S. I shared my thoughts about Rise Biscuits some time ago. I wanted to check back in to let you know that they are still doing it to my late breakfast liking. It took my husband longer to get back this time. When I asked why he said that there were a lot of orders ahead of him which is impressive considering it's a very rainy day in Chapel Hill and people tend to stay home on days like this. There’s no reason to emotionally berate your employees over a small mistake. The correct response as a leader is to apologize to the customer if needed, and figure out how to help your employee fix the problem and prevent it from happening again in the future. Getting angry at an employee does nothing to help the situation. People wonder why there’s a shortage of service workers nowadays - it’s because no one wants to be paid peanuts to be humiliated in front of a bunch of strangers over an honest mistake. I don’t want my review to negatively impact the actual employees but I would like management to think long and hard about the type of work environment...

We had planned to go elsewhere, but decided to try Rise instead. It took us a minute to figure out how to place an order, and I'd suggest downloading the app and using that to order. The staff was friendly and helped us make decisions among the numerous offerings. I ordered the chicken biscuit and I have to say that it was absolutely delicious.
