So wish I read reviews before I visited the Folly Road store. Waited 20 minutes. That’s ok. Was handed a tablet with no instruction while he asked customer who arrived after I did a couple of questions. Took my phone number and scanned the code on the back of my driver’s license and proceeded to tell me that I was paying too much for my service. Nice. Then he asked (since I had already said I knew which phone I wanted) which phone I wanted. I told him and asked if they had them in stock. Was answered, I don’t know; I don’t know what color you want. I started to walk over to the display to show him (so that I wouldn’t call the color by the wrong name) and then the conversation just fell apart. He kept saying “when we order for you” and “when we get it for you”. I asked again if they were in stock and how long it would be if they had to order. He repeated he didn’t know what color I wanted. Then charged me with being rude because I asked again if they were in stock. I’m 78 years old and NEVER have I been called rude by a sales person before. He then essentially said he was uncomfortable doing business with me and asked me to leave because he had other customers waiting. He said there were plenty of other stores I could go to, so I’m heading to Verizon. Because of Nick’s behavior, AT&T has lost a 25+ customer who was already paying too much. I suggest you consider the same and bypass the experience with Nick at the...
Read moreI went into the store as my husbands phone had permanently died, and we needed to transfer his old number to a new phone. We waited for about 5 minutes while two employees helped the same customer. When an middle age employee asked what we needed help with, this employee cut us off before we were even able to explain. When I continued to explain as I could see he was not understanding, he continued to interrupt me and interject “ say please” looking directly at me, as if to correct my speech. We continued to explain and he was specifically talking down to me (and not my husband) as if I was and child and continued to correct me saying I needed to add “please” at the end of my requests. He did not ever help us with the matter and continued to refer us to the Apple Store. When we called AT&T support, they were able to help us and said that the employee could’ve called AT&T support and handled the matter in the store instead of sending us away.
This is extremely unprofessional behavior and it was extremely rude to be corrected and talked down to because I am a women. If the man doesn’t know how to treat customers correctly, he shouldn’t work in...
Read moreI usually don't write reviews but I felt like I had to for one particular AT&T representative at the Folly Road location. Jordin was absolutely AMAZING! My elderly neighbor has a hard time with understanding cell phones and is always locking himself out of his phone and accounts with password changes and clicking spam ads and adding 1 million apps on accident. Jordin was so beyond patient with us in fixing his phone. Instead of sending us to the Apple store, she got on the phone with Apple customer support, spoke with multiple Supervisors and was able to get the issue resolved. (I had been on hold with Apple for hours previously and had gotten nowhere). She didn't give up and suggest purchasing another phone like the past 2 reps did at another location. She was just as determined as us to fix the problem and prevent it from happening again. Great customer service is so hard to come by these days and I think she deserves recognition for going above and beyond. Thank...
