Love that there is a fresh juice spot on James Island! I am a regular smoothie/juice drinker - and my son loves a good smoothie after school , and this is our new go-to spot. I recently did their 7-Day Refresh Program (Intermediate) which came with 3 Juices, 2 Smoothies + 1 Wellness Shot. I love doing juice cleanses when I need a refresh, but have never gone for a full 7-day cleanse (5-days is the longest I have accomplished, and it was difficult.) With how nourishing and tasty these drinks were from Rype, I felt full and content throughout the entire “refresh”! I could not believe I was able to complete the 7-days so easily - all while still being able to do light workouts regularly (like Barre + Yoga) and with no mood swings or strong food cravings. Stephen made it easy to schedule pickups for the refresh, so that I could pick up fresh juices + smoothies multiple times throughout the week. I would highly recommend Rype to anyone looking for a quick smoothie (I also love the chickpea wrap!) - or to anyone looking for a local spot to provide fresh items for a juice cleanse.

An absolute GEM! We had been searching high and low for a legit smoothie / juice bar in the Charleston / Folly beach area and FINALLY found it. We had the Berry Nice & PB& G. They were both some of the best smoothies we’ve ever had - on par or better than the best we’ve had in LA or Nashville. Amazing ingredients, truly healthy (home made almond milk, not sweetened, fresh ingredients). The owner is so kind & knowledgeable. Highly recommended. SC is lucky to have Rype Juice Bar!

That is exactly how we were treated, we were welcomed right in with a smile and the sweet and bubbly personality of owner Adrianne! Her hospitality was top notch! I am so happy to have stumbled upon you shop! I’m craving another Açaí bowl right now… to bad I’m back home in PA. Stop by and see for yourself!! 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Short story: This place is awesome. Acai bowls were thick, super fresh tasting and "berry" flavorful (sorry for the bad joke). One of the best I've ever had.

Long story: My wife and I were craving a smoothie on James Island. We stopped in here expecting to grab one and they had a larger selection of fresh products than we anticipated.

Acai bowls, smoothie bowls, fresh juice, smoothies, wraps, etc...

We switched it up and got acai bowls. The temptation bowl and lifes a beach bowl. Both exeeded our expectations. Hearty, refreshing and flavorful. Ingredients were crisp and clean.

Service was great as well. Its obvious the owners care about their product and quality.

This place deserves to succeed so I'm writing a review to do what I can to spread the word. When you have your next juice craving, Rype should be your...

I highly recommend Rype Juice Bar! I purchased the Advanced Refresh Program back in December, so I was able to try several juices and wellness shots over a 3-day period. After the first day, I felt better in general, energized and more hydrated, like I was absorbing high quality nutrients. Stephen provided first class service throughout the entire process. While all drinks were great, some of my favorite juices are Green Viper, Beet It, Forbidden Fruit (LOVE THIS) and favorite wellness shots are Original Sin, Gold Digger and Pretty in Pink.
