How can one adequately express what it means to have had the time of their life? From the moment we began our tour the energy and excitement was palpable to an astonishing degree. As our Mercedes van glided down the streets of Charleston we felt invincible, like the world around us existed only for us. We ambled into a parking lot and approached what looked like a distillery. Silly me. Lost in the moment and drowning in joy I had forgotten all about the tour destinations. After the distillery we visited a winery and brewery for what might possibly be the most comprehensive tour on making alcohol that has ever been. Nothing slowed us down. I have seen the Pyramids of Giza, swam with sharks off the coast of South Africa and summited Denali. I can now add this tour to that list.

Our tour guide was Josh. He was an essential part of making our afternoon fantastic. He was very professional, but in a fun way that made him feel more like a friend. He was very responsible about Covid-19 precautions. He had a great amount of knowledge about each stop and the area in general. He made sure the whole trip was about our fun and we hope he had...

My husband and I had a private tour with Josh, and it was an absolute blast! As we drove to our first location, Josh pointed out the cooler he packed for us in the back of the limo which was filled with local beers, as well as a basket full of snacks in case we got hungry or needed to sober up. We then arrived at our first location: High Wire Distillery, where we had a tour of the distillery and sampled their vodka, gin, rye whiskey, and dessert liquor. We then went to Frothy Beard where we sampled our favorite beers of the day, and Josh helped set up an outdoor game of corn hole for us once he heard how competitive my husband and I were. Additionally, once Josh heard we were in need of pictures on this trip, he kindly offered to drive by the waterfront where he took great pictures of us. We ended the day at Monkle which was a beautiful Belgian brewery where we tried the Belgian double, triple, and quad.

All in all, Josh really went above and beyond. His friendly personality made for a comfortable environment, he was a great driver, and he was very professional. We came to Charleston for my friend's bachelorette party. In researching things to do I came across Crafted Travel's Sippin Wadmalaw Tour. The reviews and price seemed great so I figured it was worth trying. Let me tell you, it was worth EVERY PENNY! If you are going to book it, GET THE PARTY BUS (It's 100% worth it). It was a beautiful bus, clean, with tons of space, and fun to be able to hook up our own music to party too. They give you champagne, orange juice, water, ice, cheese and snacks. They truly went above and beyond to make that bus an awesome experience. The tour itself was really fun. We stopped at the famous tree (really a sight to see and great spot to take pictures), then went to the winery, distillery, and brewery. Got tasting at each that were awesome. With a nice sized group we partied the day away and made our fun at the different stops. One of the BEST parts of the tour was our amazing driver, Toni!!!! We love you Toni!!! She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and really always seemed to go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure our whole experience was top notch.
