Brooke The Most Ignorant Broker Ever I booked the load from Brooke , Virginia to Monroe, New Jersey it was a Costco load. The shipper loaded the trailer very badly. Some of the pallets shifted as a result. Costco refused to get the load. The first moment I contacted my broker she started to blame me and put a Claim and hold me liable on this issue after all the efforts of communication sending pictures. They just instructed me go to a place to to restack the pallets while I was on my way to the facility, I had an email stating that this issue was my fault due to my driving habits when I came to the facility they had to unload almost all of the pallets to stack re-organize them and we realized the shipper loaded many short partial pallets between the higher pallets that was the reason the load was shifted and I was trying to get a compensation. They just refuse it, which I spent fuel time and tolls
When I was at the facility, Brooke
Called the manager and she was like "the driver is mad. Donât talk to him. Donât give him any information, blah blah blah."
I did my job well there was a problem which is a part of our job I could handle it, but from the first second they were trying to blame me on everything.
Brooke is a college educated person has been working with Jear Logistics for almost 7 years and I canât stop myself thinking how such a ignorant person could have a college degree and work in a big brokerage company.
This is a big shame and I will not stop here. I will do all my best to tell everybody every person online on every other platform. The experience that she let me live today I have been in this business for almost 15 years and five years as an owner operator.
Also when we were on the phone Brooke was telling me that she was actually helping me with the shifted load and if I was not happy I was welcome to restuck the load by myself !
She was not helping me; she was helping for her load ! What a shame!
Why should i do that ?
Update :
I have spent 24 hours to deliver Drove additional 65 miles for restack on toll road Delivered everything in good !
I was not offered and detention, layover, expenses etc
I feel...
Read moreWILL NOT PAY DETENTION unprofessional, Horrible company, if you have other choices donât even do business with this company. What to do if you still must deal with them Read the rate confirmation carefully before sign. Never trust their verbal instructions Ask them to change the detention pay rate because no one pays $25. (other brokers $50-$75) Accurate appointment time for pick-up and delivery, not FCFS. And keep shopping if you find a better load cancel their load because if you find a cheaper load with a good broker it will be better to deal with them
Don't waste your time. My driver spent 12 Hrs. at Pick up and when I request detention, they won't answer phone calls. When I emailed, he said to contact my accounting department? Accounting department said, contact Broker. They just did purposely so the carrier will be fed up and they can steal detention money, but I did not give up. I made a conference call with my friend who lives in different area code, so they won't see that I am calling for detention and they answered the call. Finally, after arguing they approve only 5 hrs. $125 only because according to rate confirmation it was FCFS 0800 to 1400 and they told us verbally load is ready we can pick any time. My driver checked in 1000 and loaded 2230. They count detention after 1400 and won't count .05 hr. as per rate confirmation. Also, detention they only pay $25 Hr. Another problem is they add incorrect delivery date and time to rate confirmation and tell you verbally its FCFS. Do not trust them. Read the rate confirmation before sign they will blame you for late delivery when you ask for detention. It's just an excuse to avoid paying detention. Yes, they are super nice only till you pick up and deliver the load and after that you will find out. I write this review because they still havenât paid the $125 detention yet and will not give up till I get paid I know $125 is not worth for 12 hr.at pick-up but their greed will keep increasing if I give up and they keep stealing carriers hard earned money.

Read moreKaden Helms, Jack Martini, and Peter Minore are some of the worst brokers you can find. I deadhead 160 miles to pickup a load from McAllen, TX to Florida. Arrived at the shipper at the very exact time I told them. Checked in @ 4:15 pm gave them an update every hour on a group text (this is on Saturday) repeatedly telling them I havenât been called or loaded. Itâs 10 pm and the shipper is closing. Only then did they reach out to the customer to find out that the load wouldnât be ready until the next day. Shipper told their customer this info before I arrived. I then asked what I would be compensated for deadheading 160 miles and sitting overnight. I was told that the customer would, âhelpâ I asked for specifics. Didnât get any response. I was going to cut my losses and asked for a TONU and never received it. Next morning I was asked if Iâd checked in again I told them no and asked again for specifics about the layover with again no response. I asked for the TONU again the only reply I received is we are taking you off the load because the broker doesnât like my attitude. Have been asking for compensation for my time for a week and no one responds. Next step file on bond. I have text messages and emails of all communication. These guys...
