I recently had the pleasure of visiting Viva and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service provided by the bartenders, Maria and Keith. They truly elevated my experience with their expertise, professionalism, and warm hospitality. From the moment I approached the bar, Maria greeted me with a genuine smile and made me feel welcome. Her knowledge of cocktails was evident as she effortlessly crafted a variety of drinks throughout the evening. Not only did she masterfully mix classic cocktails, but she also demonstrated her creativity by offering unique and delicious creations that perfectly suited my taste preferences. Her attention to detail and presentation added an extra touch of elegance to each drink. Keith, on the other hand, showcased a remarkable ability to multitask and keep the bar running smoothly even during busy hours. Despite the crowd, he remained composed and attentive, ensuring that every customer received their orders promptly. His efficiency and organizational skills were truly impressive, as he effortlessly juggled multiple orders while maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar. Both Maria and Keith exemplified outstanding customer service. They engaged in friendly conversation, patiently answered my questions about their menu, and provided valuable recommendations based on my preferences. They were attentive to my needs throughout the evening, making me feel like a valued customer. Not only were they skilled bartenders, but they also demonstrated professionalism and grace in handling any challenges that arose. They remained calm and composed, even during peak hours, maintaining a positive atmosphere for everyone at the bar. Overall, my experience at Viva was enhanced by the exceptional service provided by Maria and Keith. Their expertise, friendly demeanor, and attention to detail left a lasting impression. I highly recommend visiting Viva and having the pleasure of being served by these talented bartenders. Cheers to Maria and Keith for making my visit truly memorable!

I've only eaten here once but I will be coming back no doubt. We came during Sunday Brunch around 1130 on Memorial Day weekend so the restaurant and the whole area in Daniel Island was relatively empty. Which allowed us to easily get parking across the street (which I've been told is not always the case). Our server was very friendly and did not rush us to order and came back to check on us frequently. I was catching up with some friends I hadn't seen in a while so we were talking more than reading the menu. I ordered the Cantina Breakfast Bowl while both my friends got the Pollo and Waffles (both of these are from the weekend brunch menu). They both said they really enjoyed their meal but I can't really speak to the details. What I can say is that I enjoyed the hell out of my bowl 😂 The bowl comes with ingredients divided into four quadrants. You have sweet (Roasted?) corn, crispy home fries, black beans and the final quadrant is your choice of rice, mine was cilantro lime. This is topped with two hard fried eggs, crema and some other tasty sauce along with some sliced avacado and pickled onions. The ingredients were all so fresh and delicious and so vegetable forward that it stood well on its on without the need for any additional protein. I'm planning to go back to try something from the regular menu, but I can already tell this is some of the best authentic Mexican food in town. I mean, I love some Tex Mex but I like to switch it up sometimes and this will be my go to.

Was here for the new kids concert. As I expected to have a long wait and or wait time for anything. It was beyond that. We arrived at 5:30 concert starts at 7:00 As we waited a long time to just be asked what drinks we would like. We asked for water to start then as he wakes away we was like dang we should’ve ordered then. When he finally brought the waters we went ahead and ordered. We ordered queso and fajita nachos. We waited and waited and waited 20 minutes goes by. Still no dip! As we finely got the dip I said can I just pay for the dip and go. At this time it was 15 minutes till show start. So I followed him to pay what I was thought was just for dip. It was 40$ plus I tipped $10 Really think I paid for food we didn’t receive. There is no way dip cost $40 and 2 waters

Restaurant Review: A Disastrous Dining Experience

I recently visited a restaurant hoping for a pleasant meal, but my experience was anything but satisfactory. I ordered a medium to well-done steak, making sure to inform the staff of my cheese allergy. Unfortunately, what arrived at my table was a steak cooked very rare, and to my dismay, it was topped with cheese.

I promptly asked the waitress to return the steak to the kitchen. To my surprise, the replacement steak was still undercooked and once again included cheese. At this point, I felt frustrated and unable to eat anything.

When I mentioned the situation to the waitress, she kindly asked the manager to remove the charge for the steak from my bill. However, the manager refused, claiming that he had already replaced it. Although it wasn't about the money for me, I found it unacceptable that I had to pay for a meal I couldn't consume.

Eventually, the manager came to speak with me. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and mentioned that I would be going home to cook for myself, he offered no apology or explanation. In fact, he didn’t say a word, which left me feeling dismissed and frustrated.

This experience highlighted a lack of attention to detail and customer service that is crucial in the restaurant industry. I left feeling disappointed and disheartened, and I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a quality dining experience. A simple apology or acknowledgment could have made a world of difference, but instead, it felt like my concerns were...
