This place is the worst managed business I have ever been too. If you want the bagel you would like to eat, you better get there at 7am when they open, because by 8-9am they are already out of half their bagels. They do not make more. I went there at 930 am and they were already out of all the plain bagels. I was also told they were not making anymore. What kind of bagel shop runs out of plain at any time? This happens every single wknd. They run out of at least 4-5 different flavors of bagels by 9am, when they are open another 4 hours. They refuse to make more. They also constantly mess up orders and give people the wrong bagels they ordered. They just lost my business of getting 4-5 bagels, 4 days a week, every single week. If you actually want to eat the bagels you really want, you should definitely go somewhere else. They will never change.
My girlfriend still goes here and tries giving you guys multiple chances because I refuse to go back. Unless you’re there before 830am, you guys run out of at least multiple flavors 2-3-4 hours before you close. This is not “we try to our best to accommodate our guests with what we have”. This is terrible business practice. Unless people get there between 7am-830am, you guys run out of bagels when you are still open 3.5 more hours. Most bagels places I know, make more bagels. You guys just say “hey we’re on Daniel island, there are no other bagel places near us, so we will have customers no matter what. We don’t care if we run out of the bagels, because we get busy every weekend no matter what so they will order what we have.” You guys are out of multiple flavors of bagels every single weekend by 8-9am. It’s just terrible business. I have owned 2 different businesses. I know what it takes to please the customer. And trust me “it’s not telling them we try and do our best”, when honestly you guys could care less what you run out of. How about taking stock, and when customers constantly order bagels you are out of, keep track so you can make more the next day or weekend. You make no effort to improve. So I will never go back. You’re lucky you still even get my girlfriends business. But I’m not wasting $200-$400 a month on you guys anymore. That will not change until you guys change and you haven’t and do not seem to be any time in the near future. Let’s see would I rather sell 12-15 more bagels of each flavor we run out of, which is half of the bagel flavors, and maybe have to throw away the couple of the extra bagels we don’t sell, or would I rather continue to keep running out of bagels every day, so customers have to order what they don’t really want. That’s a tough decision!! You guys could care less about putting 4-5 times the amount of cream cheese needed, and wasting that item, but you do care about having to throw away a couple of extra bagels made to please customers. If you want to be efficient, effective, and pleasing to the customer, really think about...
Read moreThis is my first time visiting This café. I came in on April 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM. I ordered the meat egg and cheese bagel on an everything bagel and a 12 ounce latte breve. So the first thing is is that she overcharged me for my bagel sandwich which should have been 675 but she charged me 725 and then I didn’t even get my cheddar which is the cheese that I wanted on my sandwich. It says right there on my receipt cheddar. I don’t know how they missed that. The lady that took my order was rushed and she looked like she was stressed out. My coffee is so extremely hot that an hour later I’m barely able to drink it. I haven’t decided whether or not I will come back into this place but at this point, I don’t recommend. I Don’t appreciate being overcharged and it’s really not difficult to make a bagel sandwich...
Read moreReally bummed about my experience here. They completely forgot my order. My bagel with lox to go took (no exaggeration) 20 minutes to come out. When I did finally get it, it wasn't how I ordered. It wasn't a case of them being slammed with customers or understaffed - my order was just lost or forgotten somewhere in the process, and it took fifteen minutes for someone behind the counter to stop trying to avoid eye contact with me and actually check on it. To their credit, I was offered a crumb cake or cup of coffee, but at that point, I just needed to leave. To then discover that my order was wrong was just more of a bummer. Really disappointed as I was hoping this would be my...
