I'm writing this review to highlight a issue concerning Mr. Avery McLaughlin, a preschool teacher at Lutheran Church of The Redeemer. Despite my respect for the school and its dedicated staff, I feel like I have to voice my concern over an incident where Mr. McLaughlin scammed a close friend of mine out of $1,000.

When this serious allegation was reported to the school's management, we were met with no response or recourse. This indifference not only escalates the harm done but also raises questions about the school's commitment to ethical conduct.

It's crucial to consider the character of an individual who would engage in such a scam. Can we trust our children's education to someone displaying such dishonesty?

My wife Becky and I attended the 10:30 service on the 31st of January. It was good to be in a worship service with a more traditional liturgy, and without any7-11 songs. We were happily surprised to see so many friends from Via de Cristo, as well as a classmate from seminary. He presided at the Eucharist, but the associate pastor preached. Her sermon was quite good. It was full of the good news of the gospel. (Sadly, I heard no good news in the sermon in the church I attended the previous week.) I've attended Lutheran Church of the Redeemer for the past 32 years. It's always been a place filled with love, acceptance, and God's grace! There are great youth programs for all ages, Sunday school programs, and so many other opportunities to share your God given gifts with the community and other congregation members.
