Verde — Restaurant in Charleston

Ordered salads from this place two nights in a row. BOTH NIGHTS THEY SCREWED UP MY ORDER. Tonight, they left the chicken off the Southern Harvest salad, and shorted me a $5+ drink, a $1+ salad dressing, and sold me a salad that weighs about 3 ounces (see photo after salad dressing was removed) for more than $20. This was after my dasher had to wait 20 minutes for them to make my salad, which I had ordered 10 minutes BEFORE my dasher got there. That’s 30 minutes to make a salad, and they STILL GOT IT WRONG. To make matters worse, I called to speak with them and they won’t even answer their phone. Both nights, they also forgot to include utensils. Not even a napkin.

I highly recommend going elsewhere if you’re in the mood for a healthy, delicious salad. Maybe these folks are fine in-store, but if you order takeout from this place, you’re taking a huge risk on being very disappointed and ripped off. I went in last night January 30, 2023 around 8:30, there were three people upfront, two of which had on the verde uniform, and the other regular clothing as if she was training. The ones in the verde uniform were facing the entrance and not one of them greeted me. It was the trainee whose back was turned to the entrance that greeted and assisted me. The one the ones in the verde uniform looked me straight in the face and didn’t speak. Even when she attempted to ring me up before my salad was completed she directed the question to the nice customer friendly person who was preparing my salad, asking if there was additional dressing. I looked at her as to say you don’t speak to certain people. In additional I wanted to add the chill to complete my order. She then went to the back and got the other girl who was initially up front to ring me up, she wasn’t friendly either. I was appalled to say the least. The food here is always good, but I was very disappointed in the execution of their recent promotion. Previously, several of us in my office ordered and received these promotional stickers on our salads. On 5/5, 7 of us wanted to order and their online system didn't want to give the discount. I called and was told that I would have to come in person. When I arrived, I was told it was online only and 1 per person - after being told to come to the restaurant. After some lengthy discussion I was given the discount for the salads. The coupon does not say you are required to order online, nor that you are limited to one per person. What aggravates me is the trouble I had over this coupon after coming down in person -- I work in healthcare and their website asks at check out on every order if you want to "donate a meal to health care worker".
