ALDI — Local services in Charlotte

ALDI is finally here in University area after requesting for one for years. I think the only reason they open because of lidl close by to Mallard Creek. Just like South Tryon have ALDI and LiDL close by. The store is huge but the parking is horrible! I like the design outside it looks good (they knock down the old building and started all over and it looks similar structure with the google maps) and the inside cart area it had a shade. Today I was here at Aldi University, I always go to the albermale but today I stopped by, I stopped to do some shopping a few things that my friend wanted because she is pregnant, but they attended her super badly the cashier was super rude to her because she did not understand English if we are Latinas but you do not have the right to talk badly or raise your voice, but it was not only with us it was with the boy who was in front of us I also think they should give her customer service classes. I attended Aldi’s grand opening on 9/4/25. Lots of excitement and the event was well organized and fun. The store itself is a nice size. No self check out, but Staff was pleasant. The parking lot concerns ??? This area is busy, cars and there’s a lot of foot traffic, so right now, I think the parking for this store is sufficient.
