Chaos. The queue waiting to get served was one abundant with confusion and debauchery. There were drunkards by the dozens, sloppily recanting the nights tales to any attentive ear. Those were the souls attracted to the last remaining establishment, betraying the blissful night with its fervor.
An eternity had passed. My patience had awarded me a chance to place my order with the underpaid worker. I wasted no time in relaying my wishes. A solemn nod was given to me as I hastily spat out my order. A Big Double Burger With The Works. A Quesadilla. Cajun Fries. A Cookies And Cream Shake. I paid my dues and once again it was my turn to play the waiting game.
Another eon.
Then I heard it.
My number.
I rushed to grab my order and praised the dutiful employee for their kind service.
Order in hand, I took my seat at the throne of red. Silence. The bustling world around me reduced to nothingness upon my first bite into my Big Double Burger With The Works. Entranced by its natural beauty and flavor, I could only thank the heavens for my chance to witness God's grace, his glory.
The fries. Perfectly crafted by an artisan in the kitchen, salted by the finest chef in the kitchen.
The chicken quesadilla, a polymerization of chicken and cheese, magnificently balanced; the yin and yang of the cookout menu.
And lastly, the oreo shake. Mountains of decadent chocolate peacefully resting on a bed of elegant cream. Truly the cherry on top to the cookout order of king's.
If it were my final day upon this soiled earth, my last trek on this hollowed ground, I could pass with ease knowing I have experienced the...
Read moreWent to the drive-thru last night and ordered my usual order. They were slammed, as usual, so I spent about 20-25 minutes waiting in line. When I got my order from the lady at the window, I drove away and began to check my order. I look at the receipt taped to the box and I noticed that the pickles I ordered on my burger were not on the receipt. I checked the burger and sure enough, no pickles. But here's the kicker: I also ordered bacon on my burger. Guess what else was missing? That's right, bacon! This would have been a simple fix had they not been so busy. Nearly 20-25 people standing at the walk-up window, and of course the drive-thru is still backed up into the road. I hop back in the drive-thru line and wait another 20-25 minutes (while my food is getting cold) and eventually get back up to the window. The lady at the window handed me a bag and said, it's right this time! "Excellent," I said and began to drive away once more. Rather than making me a fresh burger with the condiments/toppings I had originally ordered, the team saw it fit to throw a piece of bacon and some pickles in a bag and give it to me. Every time I go to this location, my order is prepared incorrectly. EVERY TIME. Usually when my order is made wrong, they've put ketchup on my burger. (I don't eat ketchup, so I never order ketchup. It never ceases to amaze me that somehow ketchup ends up on my burger 9/10 times when I know for a fact I don't even mention the condiment.) Horrible experience at this location. DO NOT EAT HERE, YOU WILL ONLY END UP FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED. Would give zero stars...
Read more03/19/2023 at 3:55am I wish I would’ve asked for the name of the person in the window tonight she was the most disrespectful person that I’ve ever experienced with at a drive through!! The car behind us hit our car and we took a few minutes longer to finish ordering because we had to make sure there wasn’t damage to the car, when we got to the window we were missing items and she was mad even though they got it wrong! She accused us of being drunk and saying that we took twenty minutes to order, which we didn’t. I also let her know to give us a minute because the car behind us had hit our car, and when I let her know yes sorry we had to check our car for damage someone hit us she repeated I don’t care I don’t care you guys are drunk and took twenty minutes to order. If we were actually drunk and took that long for no reason I’d completely understand, but we weren’t and were concerned about our car, the way that she behaved with us was absolutely unacceptable, if she doesn’t like her job then she shouldn’t be working there but for her to talk to us the way that she did shows she doesn’t want a job. And honestly I’m not even the type of person to leave reviews even if the worker isint great because I’ve worked in the food industry but nobody should talk to there customers like this. It was an awful experience that ruined our trip to Charlotte; find workers with...
