I had a great experience here! I am not from Charlotte, NC and was looking for a last minute option to get my hair braided. I've never gotten my hair professionally braided; and I must say I was blessed to have a positive experience my first time (especially after reading all the horror stories). The price they quoted me was what I paid. And my hair-braider "ZiZi" was light handed, and there was little stress on my hair (which was one of my biggest concerns). I was there from 9-6 and it went by rather quickly. It was great!

The aftercare of my braids once she was finished was also worth it. As she progressed she moisturized my hair (its natural) and after she was finished with the braids she oiled them down. And when I requested she not trim my natural hair to "clean" the braids; she immediately listened and assured me she would not. Very accommodating.

I have found my 2nd home!! My stylist could not fit me in her schedule so I gave Charlotte a try & I am beyond thankful I did. I was afraid because I never had Senegalese twist, it’s always box braids, micros by luck, & etc… They were clean polite & masters the concept of Senegalese twist. Also, I observed them do excellent jobs on box braids as I got my head done. I really book for micros & changed my service due to my schedule, but believe me or not these ladies had no problem with them & that’s a plus for me because a lot of stylist only want to do box braids now days, so I tipped them well & they deserved it! I would give 3 stars but the end result looks great I give them that. My problem is the chairs and the blow out. With how she was braiding my hair making my head roll back so far my neck was hurting the entire time. Also I blame myself for not coming my hair before hand because she was ripping through my hair with the blow dryer so bad I'm scared to see the damage. Prices are good and you'll be happy in the end you just need A LOT of patience. I recomend combing your hair before hand and maybe blowing it out yourself as well if you need to.
