Just say no to the place. This salon is located in what appears to be a braiding colosseum, where each salon has their own office which is all locked. If you get an address for hair braiding, barbering, hell any type of hair styling at this address--DO NOT GO! There are so many braiding salons into this one center competing with each other and it appears to be like a very bad place. This particular salon states its open hours and that they take walk-ins but when you get there--there is no listed office for this particular salon. So when you call the salon line, you have to call from different numbers just to finally get someone. Once you do, you're being told that you need to call back and make an appointment since the "one person" scheduled to be there has already gone for the day, "2 hours before closing time." When asked where are you located in the building you are being told that you have to make an appointment first to even be able to see where you are going to be seen. There are posters all over the building of this particular salon but the room number listed doesn't even exist. Surveillance cameras everywhere, hallway bathrooms smelling, toilets stopped up. Just madness. Total and complete madness. Do not do this to yourself. Go to an open spaced salon that has windows on the outside that you can see before you walk in. You can see people getting their hair done as you walk into the place. This place gives "you are going to get caught up into something illegal" vibes.
By the way, thank you for your Southern Hospitality. You tainted Charlotte for me...made it seem different than the place I used to know. Such rude vibes and intentions from the party who...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely love Ms. Eyram!! She is so kind, personable, attentive, and the sweetest. She is simply amazing. She does fabulous braiding. This my first visit at this shop, and Iāve been to many braid shops and braiders in Charlotte. I got cornrows for the first time in years. I absolutely loved them! I felt so relaxed and comfortable, and she checked in on me throughout the process. Really felt genuinely cared for and that I was in such great hands. They were so nicely done and they lasted for a good minute (I was still receiving compliments 3-4 weeks after getting them done). Having many bad prior experiences with various shops and braiders has impacted my trust but I can confidently say I absolutely trust Ms. Eyram with my hair and braiding needs. I value her insight, opinion, and expertise. I trust and value her so much that I referred my Mom to her (she just recently got Senegalese braids and she loves them, and has gotten So many compliments!). I will definitely be back and highly recommend Eryamās African Hair Braiding! Thank you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely 5 stars I called the night before I wanted to be serviced and she was able to squeeze me in for the very next morning and for a reasonable price. I went with her because she has such great reviews compared to other businesses offering the same services. And she quoted that it would take her 4-5 hours to do a full head of medium sized back length box braids and thatās exactly how long it took . I could not be more happy , the cherry on top was that she was super considerate I told her that I was 3 months pregnant and she spent the whole appointment making sure I was comfortable and that the braids werenāt too tight. In addition to all of that she threw in some extra length and didnāt even charge me . This is definitely my new go to for getting my...
