Myanmar Asian Market (Vakok) — Local services in Charlotte

We loved our visit to the Myanmar Asian Market in Charlotte. It’s tucked away in a corner of the building which houses quite a few businesses. We found it difficult to find it first, since it wasn’t conspicuous.

It’s a relatively small store with items from Asian countries including Myanmar, India and others. We got the tea leaf salad that we were looking for, and the lady at the reception was quite kind and helpful. They’ve many different kinds of sauces, frozen fish, noodles, clothes, among other items.

It’s a small store, so understandably there’s not a lot of variety in items. But you can still find interesting snacks, and other interesting items.

Sufficient parking is available outside. I recommend visiting this market. Watch out...
