I had a service dog ( chihuahua) and I totally agree and understand restaurants and people dinning in not liking dogs . Ok, I’ll leave, no issues. But here, I showed my dog’s ID as a service dog, she was in a stroller ( she is old) and the lady ( waitress) starting almost yelling at us that that dog couldn’t be there.. we tried to explain to her, in Spanish because here they speak Spanish, that it was a service dog that if she would please call the manager so that we could explain about the law. Well, she refused to do that and and said “ until that dog is no out I won’t take the order from this table”!! We had guests from other countries and we really didn’t want to make a big deal out of this and had already planned our visit to this restaurant. So I took my pet to the car while we ate fast . Finally the manager or owner came out and said that he was sorry but they are not aware of that law of service dogs here. We told him that he should consider it for the future , perhaps there will be people that might get them in serious legal trouble. Anyways the rest of the time spent here the waitress was rude, her attitude was not the best when asking for plates recommendations, and we saw that with other tables! Perhaps she was having a rough weekend, but that is not the way. So sorry but this restaurant has just...
Read moreDefinitely NOT authentic Peruvian food and all those positive reviews are either paid for or employees. I’ve never in my life been to a Peruvian restaurant that charged an extra fee for cancha, which is always complimentary at authentic Peruvian restaurants. RED FLAG #1
I’ve never been to a Peruvian restaurant that doesn’t have Aji de Gallina, especially right at opening time. RED FLAG #2
I’ve never been to a Peruvian restaurant that runs out of Chicha Morada right at opening time. RED FLAG #3
The Lomo Saltado and Tallarin Verde were of extremely poor quality. You can tell they use extremely cheap quality meat at first bite. The steak which isn’t even a skirt steak cost 18$! Complete rip off! The Tallarin Verde was barely green which indicates they don’t use quality ingredients or proper ingredients.
And RED FLAG #4 I’ve never been to a Peruvian restaurant that doesn’t sell Suspiro Limeño.
Ain’t no way these people are real Peruvians and no way those positive reviews are legit. This place...
Read moreThey serve a large quantity with a poor quality. Ordered a (Tallarines verdes con bisteak) Pesto Sauce Pasta w/ a thin poor cut, piece of steak. The meat was the cheapest, thinnest cut of meat you can get, at any local butcher shop or supermarket. The pesto sauce on the spaghetti was a bit watery. Not terrible, but not at standard. It is beyond me, how this place has a 4.2 star rating. Don’t know what has been the standard here, but it is poor. Friend that came with me, ordered Fried Seafood (Jalea). The majority of the plate consisted of deep fried bread crumbs. Air filled seafood. Very disappointing. Definitely not coming back. Paid a total $165 for 5 plates. For that quality, it is...
